I love Yoona & amaze with her personality, many people call her fake because she works too hard at everything. In fact people just like to see this show like a reality & a bit melodrama. Yoona never like to show her flaws & sadness and she always taking care people around her and they can rely on her. She’s a very strong woman & mature. But if she sheds tears it means she can't hold it in anymore and she has a really soft heart 😊

No one will be better than yoona in this show, her personality, hard work, kindness is something else i really enjoyed watching the show just because of her 💕

Yoona being abeled as the perfect staff by many but also less entertaining is unfair. She is strict on herself and always try hard be perfect because she is insecure. She just wants to make people around her comfortable and not leave a bad impression. She has always been like this. Unlike IU who is shy and introvert, yoona is a very private introvert but try to overcome it by smiling and being bubbly - approachable. IU always speaks her mind, talks about her hardships, her worries. But yoona keep all those things inside. She once said talking about her worries constantly might demoralize other people. People talk about how IU had a rough childhood. Same goes to yoona. Abandoned by mother as a child andgrqing up in a big family with a very very strict grandfather whonwas feared by the whole family, being compared to members, people only caring about her visuals despite her working hard ,etc. She was expected to be the perfect image of the group. She was scared that her actions will bring down the whole group. That's why she is a perfecrionist. Remember when they made dumplings and hyori mentioned yoona's mom? she managed to cover her feelings well. For the ones who know yoona well it was heart breaking. Do not compare the girls but appreciate things as it is. Preference is one thing but still be reasonable.

I have watched both seasons multiple times, I enjoy both as much and it is not possible to love one season any less than another. The entire goal and theme of the show is to allow the public to have a look inside whats the life of married hyori and sang soon in jeju island, because hyori is extremely popular in korea and the public are always interested in her. And secondly, give the chance to ordinary people from different background and age groups to live in hyori and sang soon's home and be a guest, and allow the guest to interact with other guest and interact with the celebrity couple, the animal families and the celebrity employees. and last but not least, the program is also supposed to promote jeju island and attract tourists to travel there by showing us different activities we can do there. The combination of a charming celebrity couple, beautiful and well respected employees, sweet animal families and completely random sets of guest from all backgrounds and all age groups meet in a quiet corner of jeju island is what give the warm, relaxed, fun, healing and sometimes emotional feelings. I remember in the start of season 1 there were times hyori and sang soon didn't know what to say to the guests. I remember when IU was left alone at home and Mocha was very scared and was shaking, and IU slowly approached her, pet her and she stopped shaking. I remember the first set of girls the same age of IU were very friendly and talkative, and at first IU was a bit slow to get to get close to them, and then after the show they became friends and IU attended the wedding of one of the girls later. I remember one of the young boy from the BMW guest group got sick at midnight and was sent to the hospital. I remember the two girls and a brother who lost their mother. I remember IU interesting fashion taste. I remember the BMW boys went out to buy take away of chinese style noodles back and shared with everyone because sang soon was really craving the noodles. I remember the very cute elderly couple who came and the kind women bought all the materials to make rice wine at hyori's home and left the wine to them and the guests who came later. I remember when IU shared about how she like to keep her emotion stable and sometimes even has to suppress her emotions. I remember when a group of middle age men working in the same company came together, and they bought suits with them and they went over the mountains and took group pictures together in suit. Then in season 2, I remember the first set of cute girls couldn't leave due to the snow storm and became the first and only set of guest to return for extra stay. I remember one of the wake surf boy got sick and had to stay at home. I remember the two sisters that shared about their experience with their brother who is suffering with a rare illness. I remember another set of young guest who were lost and worry about their school work and career path. I remember yoona told the guest that she actually has a feeling that she isn't good at singing and actually not good at anything. I remember in the cold storm shun sim woke hyori up in the studio at mid night, because somehow she sense that another dog family member was outside the door and wanted to come in. I remember go si the white dog always sleep outside because he doesn't trust human, even in the snow storm, and when everyone is asleep, he quietly came in and sleep inside. I remember a young couple, and the guy was at similar age to Yoona, and he said to yoona that he wanted to go to work as soon as possible because he had to spend years to repeat in school, so he was concerned that he lost a lot of times, and yoona although at similar age, had been working a long time already, also, the other guests the couple met promised to show up to their wedding. I also remember jackson the american, had a difficult time mixing with other guests because of language barrier, but the motorcycle bros tried their best to accompany him, and the little grey cat somehow sensed that he is a bit lonely and always came to him to accompany him. I remember the family where the father and mother came to jeju island several decades ago, and they returned to the island with their daughters, went to the same beach and field, and took the exactly same pictures decades later. there are so many memorable and interesting moments in both seasons. and some people or some events could really connect with us because we might face similar issues, challenges or feel a certain way in life. sometimes some people forgot the fact that they are all real people, not actors with a script, somehow people expect a certain thing to happen but when that doesn't happen they are not happy. they even compare the guests and judge them, think that some of them are boring and not memorable...which is a horrible horrible thing to do. Imagine going on TV, being yourself and get judged, because the audience think they are not entertained? season 1 was a huge success, and all of us, and all of them didn't know what is going to happen. and based on the success of season 1, we could really see the effort made by hyroi couple and new employee yoona to make homestay a more fun and memorable experience for the new guests, including setting up the yurt in the garden, building a hot spring bath for the guests, playing with the guests when they can't go out under the heavy snow. and hyori couple also learnt to appreciate the employee more and prepare bigger farewell gift to yoona as they regret that they didn't really prepare anything in season 1 when IU left. Everyone (the celebrities) tried their best at their job and all the guests had a great time. if after watching two seasons, with hyori and sangsoon losing their home forever, and the best you can do is to constantly compare the two season like consumers comparing 2 products, or worst, belittling one of the two seasons, then I can only feel sorry for you

Iu have a very rich inner world. Hence that’s what make a good artist. I believe most great artists are introverted. And hard for people to relate to Cus they live in the spiritual realm so much of the time. 😂 I fell in love and intrigued with iu on that show. Must be so hard for her to relate to people.

These guys work so hard I find it amazing that they have time to sleep let alone date. The culture there is very strict and popular stars like Junho when it comes to having a relationship his fans become possessive. It is difficult for the partner of the star to have any peace to have a normal healthy relationship with someone they love. I hope not only Junho but the other guys in the group have someone in their lives that make them happy and content. Can't wait to hear about Chansung's baby which should be born soon. I am sure everyone is hoping for a safe birth of a healthy baby for him and his partner.

I don't care about JYP but there are 2 legends. 2PM who decided to stay together as a group and Got7 who decided to leave together as a group. No matter what they decided, I love the fact that they did it together and I rarely see such good brotherhoods in Kpop and I like that. It gives hope in pure friendships!

both the season is good but i prefer s1 more cos it felt real. S2 for me was like i watching drama & didn't felt connection but with s1 i felt like i was with them .

I am late.... 2021. Love IU and fell even harder watching homestay. The show was really special with IU on it. The bond and love that hyori and sangsoon had for IU and IU had for them was so heartwarming and just made me want to binge watch every episode. In all honesty nothing beats that first season.

I'm waiting for a second season of Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food. They are a beautiful couple.

What a great drama. The treatment given to the story is awesome. It hangover of the drama last very long. I have watched all the episodes back yo back. Lovely story telling, acting and directing. I recommend all to watch this drama. 😘😘😘😘😘

Recently watched S2 out of curiosity and of course Bo Gum. But learned to like Yoona while watching the whole episodes. Enjoyed both seasons and really sad on the final eps. Missed the Lee family and their fur babies 🐕🦮🦮🐕🦮🐈🐈
