It's interesting to see my city from a foreigner's point of view. The first part is the core of the downtown, the humidity and heat don't allow the paint on the facades to last, which is why they don't look very nice. Be careful, Manaus is not that safe anymore, there are some muggers observing in some areas. "Largo do São Sebastião" in the downtown is also cool, there is a well done "Tacacá" there, and the "Tambaqui de Banda" is great to taste amazonian fishes.

I agree completely. Brazil is one of the most racist/colorist countries I’ve ever lived in… and you’ll feel somewhat undesired as a black man if you’re expecting a bunch of Tinder likes in Brazil. However, I feel like all that goes out the window in-person (most of the time) with Brazilian women because (1) they’re approachable regardless, (2) Brazilian women are social creatures and easily fall for good company/conversation regardless, and (3) Brazilian women often follow their feelings over whatever racial preferences. That said, although I might never visit Brazil again, it’s not because of the women. I think race plays a bigger factor in Brazil when it comes to navigating other aspects of society there… and not as a tourist, but as a black foreigner who lives there long-term.

The upscala brazilian don't interect so much with most of bazialian( independent of color) but depend of the place and the social class too, in Rio they are more laid back than SP and also open too.

In Rio i really love Leme, Leblon and Lagoon too!! I used to like ipanema more but today is very full in my opnion Copacabna has less people but the Arpoador is very awsome but Leme Stone. is awsome too! In fact most place in the Rim of the beach. outside of Summer Season is better because is less crowded In the summer i prefer to go to Ilha Grande, Paraty( where they also have a Cachaça Festival), Buzius, by the way i don't like Cabo Frio i think is too mess and so not beautiful there. Barra is nice but not better than Zona Sul, no way haha Horse racing is really cool too, i use to go in Sp and i have been in Rio too.
