The Courtney family has been in the Valley for over 100 years. The Ranch is on the original homestead. Ray Courtney was instrumental in mediating conflics when the valley became Part of North Cascades Park Ray died in a tragic horse accident at Hilgard Pass. To earn a living in the 60,s he became a world known ski lift cable splicer, a skill he learned at Holden Village before WW2 when it was a active mine. In WW2 he was a muleskinner with the 10th Mountain Division in Italy. A beautiful valley full of remarkable people

The gentleman giving the video said once the handle goes in the trailer is hooked. When I hooked up a couple months ago in Colorado the handle went in but the trailer was not hooked and fell on the bed of the truck. I called pullrite And asked them if in fact if they handle went in does that mean it’s hooked and their reply was no because you can what they call hook it high and the handle will still go in!!
@1964chtАй бұрын
This confuses me. So it does a "false hook"? I've been trusting the handle for 3 years. Did Pullrite suggest another method of confirming?

@@1964cht look on KZfaq for videos on the proper way to hook up a pull right hitch but don’t trust the handle going in that the unit is hooked to the trailer

I have one. It's a great hitch. Just make sure you use that WD-40 ! and keep the slack adjusted or the hitch will bang around when you're no hooked up to your trailer Thanks for the video. It is nice to see someone doing things correctly. As an old retired trucker, I know what to watch for.

This is a very nice build. To make moving easier, though, I would suggest that instead of using screws to put sides on, you could drill holes and bolt it on. The bolt heads should be more esthetic as well as a bonus.
