Church Bible publishers has a lot of Bibles that would be great for journaling. I have bought several Bibles there.. my favorites are the turquoise kjv in an awesome black licorice leather with full Yapp and a kjv Thompson chain in an awesome cranberry water buffalo with full Yapp. The Bible covers are made by aa Allen and they are really nice!

Thank you for helping me make a decision! I got the first bible you mentioned. Changing from my small CSB bible so I look forward to more room for notes.

I agree about references, kinda a deal breaker if a bible doesn't have that, for me anyway. Thanks for sharing all your bibles 😊

It’s been wonderful to see your journey into God’s Word has matured……references, a concordance, charts, maps, etc. You’re kinda following the path He put me on. What came next for me was a Strong’s concordance (I needed more than what’s in the back of the bibles). About the same time I went into a Thompson Chain reference Bible, and then into the Inductive Study Bible by Kay Arthur. Both of the last two have Scripture interpreting Scripture. Before those I’d been in a study Bible. Study bibles can be instructive but they always have man’s interpretation (like commentaries). Enjoy the journey that the Lord has YOU on! The further you go, the closer you get to Him, the bigger and more awesome He gets! ❤ Btw, I love your earrings! 😉

Which one do you think is better the ESV Single column Journaling Bible or the Journal the Word Bible? I am trying to figure out which one I should get?
@anchoredinword
@anchoredinword Жыл бұрын
The journal the word bible has a bit larger columns but the single column bible has larger print of the Scripture. So depends what scripture font size you prefer and how large you want your columns.

Thank you for this video I never thought to used it as a my thoughts journal. It may sound weird but I just thought I only had to put what I'm learning

I’ve done that too for awhile then I went through some trials and all I had come to mind was thoughts and prayers so I began writing those out and it just stuck with me.

Sometimes, I put questions. I may not have the answer then, but if I come back to it later, I may have found the answer or be reminded to investigate.

Nice review. Just an FYI - the NASB is not a single column, it is a wide margin but it has 2 columns on each page therefore it’s a double column wide margin Bible.

Thank you dear sister for this video, it was a blessing to hear your interpretation of Moses' insecurity towards following God's call. It's true, we often are too scared of our own lack of ability that we forget what He can do despite our weakness.

Isn't it amazing how God uses our weaknesses for His glory? I love how this passage encouraged God validating our service and works out to provide all resources and tools to qualify us. We can truly trust Him and depend on Him for all things. May God bless you in all the riches of Christ, Jesus! Thank you for watching and listening.

New to Bible study here. How do you know what you want to circle or highlight, etc. I feel like I don’t know where to start. I’ve never written in my Bible. I have analysis paralysis 😄 I appreciate your videos.

Hiii, welcome 🤗 so glad you are here. I do not have a structure of highlighting because I found that to be very stressful for me. However, I try to highlight the following findings in the text; •Key themes •transition words (therefore, likewise, so, but etc). •God’s character •application/action •condition of man •commands •repeated words or ideas •redemption •context •identity of Christ •lists •Contrasts •instruction for relationships •prophecies of Jesus •cross references •verses to pray •personal meaningful verses and •Cross references. My apologies for the delay in response. Hope this helps. May God richly bless you. -Anda
