Great job! Man needs a house, man does it! The only good part about soviet times was that people had to be creative and handy to improve the living situation. That mentality helps even these days. Instead of taking insane loans for 30 years.... just use your hands and mind for 3 years and you will have much more free time after that. I built my 170m2 house the same way. It took me 5 summers and 1 winter and I had no prior construction skills. Learnt everything from friends and KZfaq. Now I only pay ~200EUR/m for all the utilities and my family life is stress free + my kids learned to do many jobs with me. Greetings from Estonia :)

"Space for rent - $5,800 a month, with first, last, and negative-first month's rent along with a security deposit of $30,000 due upon signing of lease. Utilities such as electricity, gas, heating oil, internet, water, sewer, trash, landscaping, gutter cleaning, and driveway sealing to be paid by the tenant. Proof required that all four 250 gallon oil tanks are fully filled before October of the first year. Tanks will be empty upon move-in, but required to be over 7/8ths full upon move-out. Landlord may graciously opt to renew the lease every year with a nominal increase in rent of 65%. If a new lease is not signed, the tenancy will continue on a month-to-month basis, with rent increasing by $200 per month up to a maximum of $3,000. On-time payment of rent will NOT result in positive credit reporting, however Landlord reserves the right to check prospective tenant's credit rating."

Great work with the insulation of the floor and roof, but, no insulation of the exterior walls, specially in a country like Russia?! This I can't understand.

Класс, молодец! Но вот за слушание интернет-экспертов, что газобетон не надо утеплять снаружи - незачёт! Ну и мазать штукатурку на голую кладку… Кроилово ведёт к попадалову!

what kind of block did you use for the build?
@RussellFlowers13 күн бұрын
What is the material for the main walls? At first I thought it was some kind of cement blocks, but they seemed fairly light weight, and you can work them kind of easily.

What software do you use make the models? It'd be nice if there were some captions explaining what materials your using and why your doing something a certain way depending on what country your in as your viewing audience is far and wide.

Great job! Very nice house construction. We have a different method of constructing a house. In my country the posts foundation and beams play a vital role in our buildings.we usually put rebars on both beams and posts. While yours are more of floor foundation. Great job btw.👍❤

Wow, that a pretty good price for a small home. Just a shell of a shed can you cost half that much in part of the US. Saw an article where rock wool is becoming really hard to find, there are people waiting months to acquire it. If you’re doing it yourself, of course you save a lot of money, but everything is so expensive, lumber, concrete for foundations, septic systems which come with quite a few lists of environmental requirements can double, triple construction any small home.
