Very cool, over here on the coast we still have a lot of light. So, the effect from exhaust is not as good as further inland. this is a great video. Does the sonic Boom make it to you guys? We get good sonic booms. Shakes the whole house.

Unfortunately in practice, the distinction between a TBC and a frame sync in product descriptions/specifications/manuals isn't always as clear as this. There can be quite a lot of overlap, and the terms used ambiguously(or not at all). For example I have a Cypress CMX-07 video mixer, which is described as having "2-channel full-field digital synchronization", but it can definitely correct at least some horizontal sync issues. The reference to "full-field" could infer it has a full-field TBC effect, but as frame syncs work by buffering full fields or frames, so they can be matched to other signal(s) it could also refer to that. I had a VHS tape with significant horizontal sync issues at the beginning, passing the signal through the CMX-07 got it rock solid. The main purpose of a frame synchronizer seems to be to synchronize multiple video signals, to allow mixing etc. It seems that some also include the TBC effect of horizontal sync correction without specifying it as such, while others don't include it.

Yes, it's an older model back when they made their own circuitry. The DPS-475/575 use an off-the-shelf Philips chip. I haven't tried one, but there is a video here on YT about from someone else.
