The unionists are ALWAYS the ones who stir up trouble, they then don’t report on what they did and only report on what the nationalists did. Yes more causualties were done by the Ira 2000 vs 1500 but that leaves out facts like the fact that 1500 catholic families and 300 non catholics who lived in the area were burned out of their houses in a single night, or that protestants had an enlarged vote

The British parliament is the place for British matters. Our parliament alone should be deciding on issues of human rights without EU judges becoming involved.

It's got nothing to do with the EU. The ECHR is part of The Council of Europe, and it's deliberately not in the uk as a fail safe. Going to the ECHR is a last resort, having exhausted all national legal routes. And ECHR's decision is not binding. Section 2 of The Human Rights Act 1998 requires UK courts including the supreme court to "take into account decisions of the ECHR" however they can decline to do so particularly if they consider that the ECHR has not appreciated the domestic situation

Jurors are selected from the electoral roll. So giving 16 year olds the vote also means calling them to serve on juries for fraud, rape and murder cases.
