Listen to all you Chrysler haters out there. As a Service Advisor who worked for the Big 3 and some Japanese car companies, i will say unequivocally, whether Japanese or not they all have problems. There is really much difference anymore. I have seen many Toyotas ( one of the Japanese car companies i worked for) had their engines go as early as 40k miles bc of defective piston rings. These affected Toyotas on their V6 engines from 2007 onwards. Toyota has issues with their vvt oil pressure sensor on their 4 cylinders and i have seem them go as early as 35k miles and the above issues affected 3 to 5 % of their vehicles. In other words all automakers have their issues and Chrysler is no different.

218,000 on my 06 T&C with original drive train. I've replaced wear n tear parts that would be replaced on any car. I wouldn't hesitate to make a cross country trip in it.

I’ve had two caravans. An 02 Dodge sport and a 08 Chrysler T&C. The 02 I bought certified used low mileage and I’ve always maintenanced the hell out of mine. The 02 was an electrical nightmare. It’s rotting in a salvage yard somewhere with a blown head gasket. Now I’ve had a few other mopars before switching to Toyota and classics, but the only “reliable” one I had and still have is the 08 T&C. It’s 120k miles and everything still works though I just replaced the AC compressor and had a lot of work done with the warranty while I still had it. Engine and transmission, brakes and electronics haven’t given me any issues. Only Mopar experience I’d call good.

Just because your Chrysler broke doesn't mean they're all broken just like when someones Chevy breaks all Chevy's aren't broken

i do mine every 3K. i went from the 5/20 dino oil in its early life, then to 5/30 syn blend for the past 120K miles. now at 221,000 I've switched to 5/40 full syn as the valve train has some chatter, the engine seems to like the heavier oil now as the chatter is less noticeable. but at 221 thousand miles a little engine noise is to be expected. NOTE: I've resealed my engine at 190K so i have no oil leaks at this time nor is there any noticeable oil burning through the tail pipe.
