Yesterday we LOST one of Canadian dance stars. She loved to Dance and emersed her life in the art of Belly Dance flamenco and later in massage therapy as teacher in all forms. SHE WAS DEDICATED...AMBITIOUS and BEAUTIFUL. Hadia you will be missed by many dancers... worldwide. Now you can DANCE amongst the STARZ in heaven. RIP... you have found new wings.

We never know when our time has come to start dancing with the STARS .... Hadia, you are now dancing amongst them. We have all been touched in some way by your sharing, teaching, performances and now we are all touched in knowing that you have passed onto another universe. RIP you will be missed.

Oh my dear, beautiful, funny, no hilarious, dedicated, talented, tireless, creative, artist, fire cracker friend. I heard the terrible news of your passing this past Sunday. I heard it today. I cannot believe it. Look at you. I cannot believe it. You were my teacher first. And then you were my dear friend. So many memories of the house in Calgary. The beautiful house that you designed and built. You sweet kitty cat Zoe, zoe’s jungle beside the house Where are you planted veg that we picked before supper. Watching, as you called it, ‘Law and Order SUV’ LOL. you’d run in the house yelling, “it’s almost SUV! “Lol. I can still hear you yelling at the TV screen when we were watching the end of Seabiscuit, “go go go go go!!” We had so many laughs working in your office. My mind is whirling. Like a dervish. Which, seems apropos. You are gone too soon, my friend. I always knew in my heart that you would be dancing until you were 100. I was wrong. And, I wish so so much that I was right. It’s really hard to write this today. To use the past tense in referring to you. You were a big part of my life. An even bigger part of my sisters life. We were so happy to know you. And to love you. Incredible artist. Incredible friend. 😢❤️😢

My dear beautiful, funny, unique, smart, passionate, dedicated, friend. My dear friend. I cannot believe the news I heard today of your untimely passing. Hearing your voice here is at once difficult and comforting and warm in the way it is to always hear a friends voice. I have so many memories. We had so many laughs in Calgary. Picking vegetables for dinner in Zoey’s Jungle Beside the house, that beautiful house you designed and built. Watching Seabiscuit, yelling at the screen as Seabiscuit took on War Admiral “Go go go go!” You were my teacher first. The first time in Seattle at a weekend workshop. And, what an incredible teacher. And then, my sister, a much more accomplished and serious dancer than I was, my sister and I heard the incredible news that you were moving to Calgary. And then we got to be good friends with you and what a privilege, what a laugh, what an experience, what a friend. I just cannot cannot cannot believe that you are gone. I just cannot. I will never forget you. I will love you forever, dearest friend. Dearest Jocelyn.

Hadia. I thought you had some of Bobby Farrah's moves. I nailed it. I studied under his 1st dance partner Emar Gemal. They were dance duo j In the early part of the 1960s. And I love your style and techniques of the dance. I wished I took classes from you. Your excellent 👏
