Thanks so much Diane! That lake was amazing, Quebecoise must be great swimmers, local people were swimming across it late in the evening and right after sun up in the morning. Awesome!

Those flowers are called fireweed. So funny, my friend from Vancouver Island just texted me from Newfoundland and my other friend from Northern BC is on the border of Labrador and Quebec. So ya'll are there without me!!!😂 One is travelling fulltime in her car and the other has a class c. I think Im headed home today...we shall see. Maybe I will stop in that little plain jane campground in Saskatchewan that I met youse at😅🏕️ it's funny how Canada has one main road, Hwy 1, but then you get all the smaller Hwys, basically - only one interstate😂😂😂
@TheGnometownCampers
@TheGnometownCampers 6 күн бұрын
Yes we thought maybe that was fireweed, but we thought it was only from out west because we don't have it where we live. But we figured someone would let us know, so thank you for letting us know. It's funny that we all converged on NL in 2024. At least it doesn't feel crowded here! Take care, thanks for watching.

"Bigfoot structure" Said structure is so small that a normal dude would struggle to fit, but a 10+ ft tall mythological creature's squeezin on in there comfortably huh?

Whoohoo! Welcome Back to Canada❤🎉🛻🇨🇦🙋‼️Sounds like your taking a trip I would like to do! Ive only gotten to 5 provinces, and Im currently parked in my newest to me 14' travel trailer, in Niagara Falls, driveway surfing, which is easy to do with a 14'er😂🎉‼️My hubby is a retired Psych nurse. We now have Hubby's brother full time with us now and we are grateful he really enjoys these adventures with us (even tho he doesn't remember)

Thanks Jane! You know that we just love both Canada and Canadians! The black flies can go, though! Interesting that your husband also was a nurse. I never did any psych in my career. I had friends that dabbled in it a bit. I'm trying to remember, is your new camper a vintage camper? I'm thinking 🤔 it is. Thanks for watching and thanks for the nice comment, have fun in your adventures!

Just got my Lectric today and I rode 18miles. When I’m on pas 5 and using throttle only, there is a humming/rattling sound up to 9mph then goes away. Do you think this is normal considering it’s a new bike?

I have had an RV for about 6 years. The first time we camped we went to the Suwannee and other than once going to the mountains we always stay here. One month in the spring, one month in the fall and the month of January or February. I absolutely love it. Always safe, always friendly people, lots to do and great flood at the cafe

Thank you guys!! And to Luke, for the nice introduction! Making unforgettable memories! I agree with you, I am so partial to ACOE sites, best in the country! Love to you! Oh, and I looked that campground up on Google and I was wondering, since y'all do such an awesome in-depth review of places, do you ever put reviews on Google Maps?
@TheGnometownCampers
@TheGnometownCampers Ай бұрын
Hey Diane! Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I don't think I've ever left a review on Google maps, but I do use them. I think I did leave one for a porta potty one time at Suwannee, though. It was pretty funny, if I can find it I will send you the link. We are leaving on a big trip on 7/14, heading up to Labrador and Newfoundland. Don't really have any concrete plans but this is the rough idea: We will spend about a week in New York in the Adirondacks and then driving through Quebec to Labrador and then ferry to NFL. On way home, ferry to Nova Scotia and then maybe camp in Vermont and/or New Hampshire on way home. We should be home end of Sept or early October. We're looking forward to the trip and hope to explore more rugged north country. We will try to post shorts and videos along the way. Hope you have a good summer. Take care.
