I would be interested in knowing why you chose a boar over a bird? My first hardcore, I used a boar. I was ridiculed for using a boar instead of a bird for screech. But being the rebellious person that I am, I stuck with my boar. With my second hardcore hunter, I gave a bird a shot. Boy for me, that screech cannot be beat. If I get unexpected adds or I dc, my pet will screech everything, and I remain safe. Screech decreases the enemy's damage, so I assume it can take as many hits as my boar took. With my pet points, I put all into stamina and armor. Was this the best way to go? I don't know. Would take someone with far more knowledge than I have to verify. The most challenging thing I did hardcore with hunter was level a selfmade, which included gear, weapons, gun, ammo, bags, and then a naked hunter. Both I had used the hardcore addon, so a lot more tougher than today's official hardcore servers.

Those doors with the gates in front of them, you can do later in the game, when you have the freezing spell, you need to freeze the pendulum of the clock on the sign that is on the door, there are a few more in the clock tower. When you can not grab any of those ancient magic glow things your ancient magic meter is full. you can upgrade that meter by doing ancient magic spots in the open world

You just have to tap the shoot button to aim at the gunsmith and investigate the side business!! You were holding it down, which is for drawing the gun like in a duel. Besides, here’s an explanation for the game not letting you aim some times: in many situations the game expects you to talk before doing anything else. If this happens, you won’t take your gun out immediately, you’ll have to do an extra step (tapping the shoot button), just so you don’t aim at an NPC by accident. I hope that made sense 😂. Just remember that if you aren’t able to aim at a certain point, tap the shoot button and Arthur will aim immediately.

I played a Night Elf hunter in WotLK expansion, I like new changes they made to the class. Also: I am glad Blizzard revamped Darkshore. I remember leveling through the zone and feeling it was a slog to get through. All the long running back and forth; the zone seems very fun now!

I agree with what you were saying about watching content being different than playing. I personally havnt got the stomache to run a hardcore character and much prefer playing regularly but really enjoy watching yours and others hardcore/ironman content!

Quality of arrows didn't matter in ironman. But if the higher quality came from professions or trading, that was not allowed.

I always tell people, with regards to hardcore, I don't have to be good, just smart (knowing quests, knowing mobs, knowing what I can do, and with a bit of luck thrown in). But in your case with the ironman & hardcore on a classic server, you have to be good and smart. Best of luck.

If you quickly tap the shoot button without aiming Arthur will shoot from his hip! It’s a lot faster and you won’t have to deal with the not having enough space problem!! It’s obviously harder to hit a target, but it’s pretty useful when you’re really close to someone!!

Interested to know your opinion on the leveling in cata compared to earlier expansions so far. I'm honestly finding it more engaging than ever but that may be partly due to my crippling addiction to random dungeon finder 😅. I do wonder if this will cause people to look on cata more fondly, kind of like how the star wars prequels become popular after the disaster that was the sequels.
