Looks great! Love the jighead paint color & sparkle. Guaranteed to catch a few bass. It sucks getting old and losing your eyesight, dexterity, brain, etc. Suck it up and laugh about it, I guess. I'll be 60 in a few months but at least I'm healthy so I'll take that as a positive. Thanks for sharing your talents and stay well!

Nice one Smalljaw. Thanks for sharing. I have a request. Can you tie a few of the wacky jigs? That pattern is the one that got me started. Stay well. Bill

I have a question do you prefer the hook that the mold takes or a regular 30 degree hook as far as hooking percentage. Do you see any negatives to the bend being above the hook point on the hook the mold was made for?

Another great looking jig Dan I really like the shorter hooks when i can get them for my molds that I have. I hardly ever use bigger than a 3/0

Dan- Sorry to hear about how things are going. If it’s financial, it would be nice if there was a way we could help you out. Aside from that, I feel I owe you anyway for all the knowledge and dry humor. Hope to hear back from you soon!

Got a few steep clay banks that transition into chunk rock on Lake Wilson that I will have to try this pattern on. Don't know why steep clay banks on Wilson are so productive but I am guessing it's great habitat for crayfish. Really like the colors in this one. Thanks SJ.

Can't never go wrong with black and blue. Just about every trophy fish I have caught on Lake Guntersville has been on a black and blue heavy jig with a green pumpkin trailer. I will have to tie a few of these up and try them. Might have to make a few in an autumn brown pattern and try for smallmouth on Pickwick. Thanks for sharing SJ. Great job.

Very nice, love it! Those sickle hooks are great. Thanks for showing us how it's done. Sorry to hear you're still dealing with some struggles. It sucks I'm sure but hang in there and I hope you get something figured out to ease the pain.

Thanks for the video, I've learned a ton from you in the last couple months! Question for you if I can, I'm trying to tie bucktails with a fuller body, but can't seem to get the flare necessary, my bucktails usually have a slimmer minnow-like profile. I've successfully gotten thicker bucktails by tying a chenille ball towards the head of the jig, but was wondering if there is a better way to flare the hair without the use of chenille. Any tips you can give me would be much appreciated, keep up the great content either way!
