Glad Honda Switch to this design of filter. On later model. My 14 Acura RDX has this type. Alot better then the ATF warner filter on my 04 Accord EXV6 Sedan. 91k shifts so perfectly and smoothly.

Highly recommended, because you don’t want to chance any nasty stuff from that filter to be recirculated into the system

Hey! Thanks for the great videos on both yours and your dad's TSXs! You're doing great stuff. @@dylancool8638 I have a 2011 wagon myself, and noticed that it is indeed buried under the fuse box. Have you replaced it yet? Looks to me that you have to take off the sway bar, and move the fuse box out of the way. Was wondering if you just need to move it by like 3 inches or take it off completely? TIA

My wife haven’t changed transmission in over 6,7 years I just recently took it to Acura and they added oil. Didn’t drive as much afterwards and it started jerking not sure if I should drain old transmission oil or maybe just replace filter and just keep adding more oil and maybe try the Lucas as well.. what would you recommend it’s a 2011 Acura TSX 2.4
@dylancool86383 ай бұрын
I would start with replacing the fluid and filter, and see how it shifts then. It doesn’t hurt anything and it’s better for the car overall. I’d go with Acura Automatic Transmission Fluid and an Acura filter. I’ve been told many times to go to Honda for parts because they’re cheaper, so I would try that as well. If you try to fix it yourself, like I did in this video, it’s honestly really easy if you take your time and have the proper tools, although you shouldn’t need much I wish you the best of luck with your issue

Orientation of the filter is important. You can also let the car idle until the fans kick on to test fluid level. Where can you throw away the old fluid?
