Yes we had to, we snapped it when we were in cape York and had to get it back home to Uk, so had it towed from weipa to cairns and got it welded up by some Russians in cairns just to get it shipped back home. Once back in the Uk the old chassis was completely removed and replaced with a brand new galvanised one. We used a specialist company in the midlands who did this. Gulliver will out live us!! We do plan to return to Australia and do more travelling, the Gibb again, Simpson, and Cape York - we were only 100 kms from the tip😭
