Have you guys noticed something weird about your gem count because if you check the event standings in the leaderboard, and then check your total amount of gems collected, you can see the numbers are completely different.

54:24 Interesting moment I'm trying to understand... from what I can tell, Misa did the jump as well, and it looks like you pulled ahead specifically because of that perfectly-executed wall-bounce, whereas Misa instead drove the corner and then boosted (which is slower)? EDIT: Oh wait I think Misa boosted into the wrong jump because too many reds in the way and truly was committed to the chicane; I thought it was lag/rollback effects. Still, that wall bounce was perfect.

The new update is very nice. I'm happy to see how Nintendo takes care of their game, especially this improvement for the team battle with 5 teams. Really good as a novelty.

As much as I want new machines, I’m glad they’re atleast TRYING to keep us occupied with new updates. I do hope eventually we will have more than 4 vehicles to choose from though.

Nice to get the next update! I like the Festival League for it being a change, but I'm already now happy that it's a limited event since it's at times just visual overkill with everything that's on the track and exploding outside. oO But for now it's fun and especially nice that many are returning to the game again!

10:48 Bollocks! That absolutely was the final spark you needed for the skyway that I'd personally use right then and there. It was perfect and for some reason the game didn't give it. Edit: Also fantastic GP! Getting a two-KO MC with Goose is so cozy, it's a nice setup for an overall less-stressful spectating experience as well. 😆

I don't play FZero 99 anymore but I love this. I love the energy they've put in this update especially adding characters emotes and make Captain Falcon and Dr.Stuart as racers.

Team Battle is actually decent fun now, yeah! Taking the “pointless detours with sparks” like at mWL2 and mRC1 now perhaps have a purpose… an additional meaning to “taking one for the team”.
