I have to ask, and I guess your answer, but I will tell you my own reasoning after. Clio Trophy or Meg EDC? I know you will say Meg as it is a faster car and maybe more road presence...but...play Devils advocate with me here. The Clio is cheaper on parts and fuel and stuff like tyres (usually) and tax. It is still very rapid and even more so after bolt ons and remapping. In this day and age, is more power worth it? Where I live my 10 mile commute to work and back, top speed even on the M27 is 50 MPH...totally slow and boring.

Hello mate - after somewhwre decemt place to do some general maintenance and I'd be after some light mods. Disc pads upgraded, general health check as my clio mk4 rs trophy is about to drop out of used approved status shortly. Not been happy with main dealer at all, fear thereight be stored up issues. So looking for somewhere decent to go that knows renault sports. In Essex. Any recommendations. Been watching ya since you had one. Thanks

@@tigranes. 100%! Not even in the same league... However I imagine the Michelins do comfort better, but this is by no means crashy and horrible. I guess I have the benefit of dropping to an 18 so I have a bit more tyre on the rim but they've been solid for me, responsiveness and direct feel was literally instant

Ah mate I’m taking mine to engine dynamics but it’s got this weird clicking noise when I start the car. REN-O-TEC and a couple of other garages said it’s nothing worry about but Renault said I gotta change the whole turbo and actuator. I don’t have the money for that! No lights, no loss of power nothing. Just a weird sound on revs! Anything you can suggest?

I have no idea dude! I know they can be ticky on idle/start up but if theres no faults I guess you'll be ok? Especially if there's no loss of power

The car has been up to able speeds and it's not even dropped 1mm 😂🫣 Double sided for placement and the guided screws are absolutely plenty mate, also means you don't have to drill wide bore holes for the hardware that comes with the splitter but it's absolutely your call!

@@VersionOneUK thanks for the reply, Just looking into it for my son, he bought it without seeing the history so I did a check with Renault and turns out no service since June 22 and this is when it had the work done. Advised him to try get his money back as sold with full service history and who knows what damaged has been caused with 2 yr old oil, last year of warranty is void so hopefully whatever caused the failure has was found and rectified not just slapped new gear on

Just got one last week. its a 2015 Clio Rs with 49k in Yellow. Got it from Renault. From 60mph onwards steering vibrates a lot. also there is always a constant plasticky vibration coming from the dashboard ... I am a bit reluctant.. Don't know if I should keep the car or not.

nice videos, the car is insane. some amount of money and time put into this. defos looks better with the rear lights blacked out and ive always hated this look on almost any car, but this looks nice to be fair with the black badge i need to sort out black badges for mines. have a few 3d printers so will maybe make my own.

yo brother love your videos.In regards to the fuel pump sensor i think it is the problem i currently have.That is that sometimes when i fill up my tank full with petrol it shows 410kilometers left and sometimes with full tank it shows 650km.I will confirm it with Renault on monday.

@@jonboyy1327 you must not have watched much of the video mate, it's literally JUST got back from the ring 😂 the engine was hurt previously too so had to be rebuilt, so it's been out of action for a bit. Also... not my car but I have told him off for putting grids on it 😂😂

@@VersionOneUK Last minute KZfaq flick through before starting work. Nürburgring is one amazing place I’ve been 3 times in 12 months so I know how addictive it is. The protracks & pro race wheels previously suited this car so well. Been on a previous Trackday with my old Megane & this car at Donnington so I know of the car too. Nice to see it’s still about though.

@@jonboyy1327 yeah mate it's still going strong! The owner literally uses it just for track, just needed some love and money thrown at it. I borrowed it off him for the vid but other than that it barely see's the road, hence the super sturdy setup 😂 bouncing all over the place. It's a very well sorted car and even before any more work was done on it the spec was maaaaaassive

All depends what he's into mate! The RS200 and trophy both have 1.6 litre turbos, and only come in auto so they're fun and when driven softly are actually quite economical! I can't comment on the other platforms because I've only experienced the RS

Mines a 300 trophy and I bought some from a different brand apparently to fit the Megane but they're a mm or 2 too narrow and won't sit flush Just wondering if you came across anything or was it fairly straightforward? Hey mate, I've seen this happen multiple times now where people try to save money on other branded or no branded (not saying you have) spacers and they just do not fit the Mégane. Had mine on the car ages, sat completely flush, no issues what so ever
