What a stunning country and what a huge part Naankuse plays in keeping it that way. My admiration for what they have done and for all they are still doing.

Hello! I was wondering if you happened to have the uncut footage of Solsie in this video? A sideview-walking reference is hard to find for these guys so it'd help me a ton with my animation homework! No worries if you don't though <3

This leaves me with mixed emotions: very happy that those lions were saved and have a viable future again, but also sad because it shows there's now another wild area in Namibia where lions cannot survive without human assistance. It reminds me of the magnificent documentary of Will and Lianne Steenkamp (‘Vanishing Kings’) in which they followed a small pride of lions in the deserts of Kaokoland. Sadly, these kings have vanished: shot or poisoned by local people. No judgement from me, I can't imagine how hard it is to survive as a human in those hard conditions and finding out that lions are threatening the only goat or cow you have got. But still, it aches to see how fast lions are disappearing from the wild.

People say the roar bark Maned Wolves make is the stuff of nightmares, I find the sound aardwolves make to be far scarier (although aardwolves are also insanely adorable).
