I just started last week as a transfer driver my boss says I should be able to dump the 2 loads and hook everything back up and out in 15 minutes when I get good. I hope that’s true cuz I’ve been taking about 30

Once you get it down you’ll get quicker with it from unhooking it and dumping out both boxes. Always check the sites out before you drive in if you’re unsure and walk it especially after a rain storm.

Interesting video! I work with pretty similar combination myself also here in Finland. It is pretty different though, I don't need to get out of the truck for transferring and only for connecting and disconnecting the trailer cables and hoses. How big load you can have with this combo? I drive a 4-axle R-series Scania with a 4-axle trailer (don't know if you call it a pup?). I can take about 45 tons of load combined, 18 tons on truck and 27 tons on trailer. It is pretty funny to dump with over 10 tons of overweight when dumping the box :D

I’ve only seen trucks like that on the internet it’s interesting how much weight you guys can carry this truck can only haul 25.5 tons We have truck and pups here in cali but they can also haul about 25 to 26 tons

Transfer u can get in tighter spots since u drop your trailer somewhere… but I think they carry the same amount of weight

Jesus could you answer a few questions for us homeowners: I have always wondered how do us home owners know were getting the amount we paid for ? Do they weigh it before it leaves the yard? Another question in the winter the rock is wet and I assume heavier so were are we paying more in winter than summer? Any help would be much appreciated thanks!

I am not sure how it is done there but I guess it is pretty similar than here in Finland. The loaders weigh every bucket they lift from the yard to the truck. And yes you pay by the weigh so you pay for the water too.

@@jesusarreola7060 How do you keep the steering wheel clean when you're wiping the dirt off the back end bare handed. The inside of your truck looks clean, but I'd like to see you wipe the steering wheel with a wet wipe. I do deck work, chains and straps, so I wear gloves and keep wet wipes in the truck to keep my wheel clean. The steering wheel can be the dirtiest part of your cab.
