This is silly. Turn the wheels to the left or right and there is a quick access panel in the wheel wells directly behind the headlights held in with two clips. turn them 90 degrees and the panel pops out. You dont even need to open the hood to have easy access to change the bulbs.

the car multi media system in C4 it's difficult to manage thus UNSAFE while driving!! How you guys got certifications for this? the multimedia screen is SO small and situated in the middle of the car, so when you drive and want to check anything in the screen, you need to TURN (!!) you head and look for the info - not recommended at all!!! Then, there is a HUGE with connectivity, the BT in this car is UNSTABLE and looses connection while driving .... NEVER SEEN something like that since car have BT build in. The navigator is unreliable and would take you through side roads with dead ends ... Going into engine performance, get ready to pay TONS for fuel. The engine in this car seems to be undersized for it. In the road, be careful passing other cars, always remember the engine will not be with you when you need it.. The materials used in this car are SO CHEAP, plastics are thin and low quality, so be ready to get scratches the very first day you drive it ... The noise inside on the road would not allow you have a phone calls, unbelievable!! to summary, the "new" C4 spacetourer it's even worse than the other ones before. It's a nice toy to have for definitely not a CAR .. I do not recommend this car at all....

Great presentation and a sad farewell to a lovely line of cars (IMHO). I'm actually looking at picking up one of the last specimens.. just a question would you recommend an automatic (EAT8) vs manual - considering resale in the future?
@paybournemotorprojects
@paybournemotorprojects 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the positive comment Gerasim0v. It is sad that they discontinued this car. It's sad that a lot of car manufacturers are discontinuing their MPV ranges. Ford announced earlier this year that they are discontinuing the Galaxy. To be honest, i'm not a great lover of Citreon or their current styling but when i was doing my research for this video, i got to see a lot of the Grand C4 Picasso/Spacetourer and learnt quite a bit about them which made me appreciate the thought, build and design of this car. If you are looking at purchasing the Grand C4 Spacetourer (not the Grand C4 Picasso) then i would recommend opting for the Automatic gearbox. The Manual is clunky and imprecise. The downside to the Automatic is that it's slow to respond if you were to pull away quickly but it has a smoother transition between gears than the Manual. The Grand C4 Spacetourer Automatic has the new improved EAT6 gearbox which features a torque converter. Overall the best option. As for resale, depending on age, mileage, engine (Petrol/Diesel) gearbox, condition, trim etc will determine the resale/trade-in value when you come to sell it. Couple examples for you based mainly between Manual and Automatic Grand C4 Spacetourers - 2018 Grand C4 Spacetourer Manual, Diesel, 26,000 Miles (Private Sale: £16,380-£17,480 / Part Ex: Around £14,000) - 2018 Grand C4 Spacetourer Automatic, Diesel, 10,000 Miles (Private Sale: £16,550-£17,600 / Part Ex: Around £14,190 - These prices are based on current UK market valuations so could vary in other countries. The Automatic is worth a little bit more than the Manual but this could be down to Mileage and/or Trim Level. Hope you enjoy your Grand C4 Spacetourer if you end up getting one and if you need anymore help, tips or recommendations then just let me know and i'll be happy to help

Hmm, another excellent piece of information, thanks a million@@paybournemotorprojects.Especially on the experience on the manual gearbox vs auto. The available selection of new cars of this model is very limited of course(given it's in the last month of its production..)- so my options are basically down to A) a Shine edition -top of the line but *not* with all the bells and whistles (eg no powered tailgate) and manual gearbox B) a Feel (mid level trim)- but parking radars left out due to chip shortages.....but automatic EAT8 gearbox-(which seems to be further improved on top of the EAT6) both with Puretech 1.2 petrol - prices are basically the same. I'm now leaning towards the Feel EAT8 version (+ will get parking radars/camera separately).... Overall I heard very good things about this gearbox, and based on your thorough insight I'm even more convinced that this is the better choice.... Even though I don't mind a manual myself, my main concern re:resale was that I expect in a few years, given all the EVs and hybrids as well, more and more people will only be able/used to driving automatic cars?
@paybournemotorprojects
@paybournemotorprojects 2 жыл бұрын
@@gerasim0v Unfortunately as Citroen are winding down production of the Grand C4 Spacetourer, there isn't many models, spec or trim levels available, just those that are good sellers for Citroen. As you said, more and more people are turning to EVs so more cars will be fitted with electronic/automatic gearboxes. This will mean, the more Auto gearboxes available, the more it will drive down the value of them meaning the manual gearboxes will increase in value as they become more rare but mainly as a part (the gearbox itself). It's too early to see what the whole car will be worth in time with a manual gearbox. As it stands now the Auto box is worth more. I would recommend getting the Feel Model as it comes with the better, more reliable gearbox as that's more important. Though it is bad that it doesn't come with something that is pretty standard on cars these days like parking sensors. These can be fitted at a later date which will be alot cheaper than the gearbox (depends if you're bothered by it or not). If you're main concern is resale then i can only go on current market value and tell you that the Automatic has the higher value but there's not much in it as it stands. At the end of the day, you have to go with the right model that ticks the most boxes for you and one that you are happy to own. Which model would you be happy to choose, drive and live with?

My 2018 Accord 1.5T just had a fuel injector fail at 58k error code P0172 (posted on my channel). Modern Honda look amazing but once the 3yr/36k warranty expires you're on your own and you have no idea how expensive modern Honda engines are to fix. Oil changed at 80%, Shell regular used 80% of the time, always did warm up the car in the winter. Dealer so out of touch they recommended brake fluid replacement at 30k. I've never seen this part fail in ANY of my past cars. When asked why the injector failed so early Dealer said they see them all the time and cost of replacement is $1600-$2500 (must replace all 4) and the new injectors warranty is only for 12k/12mos! I was in love and bought the 1st Accord on the lot with series ending in -0001 but when I made a case with Honda to see if it could be part of a bad batch all I got was the VM of the case manager for weeks on end. I fell for all the influencers stating the Accord was the best in it's class.
@paybournemotorprojects
@paybournemotorprojects 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing your story Johnny. Sorry to hear about your fuel injector failing in your Accord. I agree, some modern Honda's do look amazing and Honda had a great reputation for how well their engines were built. It used to be common knowledge that a Honda engine would outlast the body but from what i've heard about some of the more modern Honda's, i'm not to sure if that reputation still holds up. The newest Honda i've owned so far is a 2010 Jazz/Fit. Owned it for 3 years and it never gave me any trouble. It's like Honda know how long their parts last for on their cars and make sure warranties don't exceed that time as parts is where they make their money, not the car itself. I've never really listened to influencers. I've always thought, if i like something and i want it, i will get it regardless of what people have to say about it. Influencers just give you their opinion based on their experience or in some cases just their opinions. Some are even paid to influence people to get a product. You can never really tell which are which, that's why i don't trust them. Like i said, if there's a car out there that you want, go for it, experience it. Not everyone's experience with the same product ends up being the same experience. The Civic's are great cars and always have been which is probably why the are Honda's longest running production car, celebrating 50 years this year

There's certainly things Hyundai should incorporate on the Ioniq 6 from the Prophecy concept but i'm glad they're not keeping some of it as i'm not a big lover of certain aspects of the car nor is it practical or cost effective on a production car. The Prophecy concept was more of a coupe than a saloon/sedan which the Ioniq 6 will be so there will be quite a few differences. Hyundai have stated that around 80% of the Prophecy's styling will make it in to production on the Ioniq 6. If Hyundai were to make another Coupe, i hope it will be 90% of the Prophecy. I agree, they do need LFP batteries as this will lower the discharge rate for a start

For a production car to feature around 80% of the design of a concept car it's influenced by is certainly not a bad thing as on average they're around 40%-60% based. The Ioniq 5 was based on the 45 Concept and when Hyundai released the Ioniq 5, it was almost identical. I can't see that happening with the Ioniq 6 as the Prophecy is a Coupe and the Ioniq 6 will be a saloon/sedan. If you see between the pictures of the Prophecy and the test drive video of the Ioniq 6, you can see the roof has been raised at the back for rear doors and rear passenger headroom
