Sorry, no manual was ever published. The kit was sold to hobbyists who can put it together based on the schematic in the link I sent you.

If you check the date on the schematic, you'll realize that it's close to 3 decades old. I actually built the actual amp a couple of years earlier. However, that amp circuit is very similar to the Sun Audio SV300B which is still currently produced and sold in NYC by OJAS. Here's a video which shows my current SE300B monoblock amps - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gqyUacR12pOqloE.html - the chassis and power transformer date back to the late 90s but everything else is different. Hey, I just discovered your channel while I was looking for a schematic for the JE labs 300b tube monoblocks. I just picked a (Chassis For Single Ended 300B Amps) DIY project. The chassis came with a part list , but unfortunately it didn’t come with that schematic to build the monoblocks. Hello Joseph, Congratulations beautiful video! The Beyma 8 AG N is also recommended in the wonderful book about tubes and full-range loudspeakers "Highly Sensitive" by Dr. Götz Wilimzig. Unfortunately, Beyma has stopped production, so that only residual stocks are available. Regards Stefan

I have that earlier set on CD. Back when I was a student at Juilliard in the 80s, I also preferred the EMI. But now I view each reading as a reflection of how he felt and thought about Bach at different points in his life as a musician.

Thanks! The Gray Research clone to the right is for mono LPs. The Grace G565 is for MC while the shorter Tokyo Sound ST900 is for older low compliance stereo MM/MI cartridges or SPU.

Wow A TOKYO SOUND ST-900 tonearm. I have one too, at the moment mounted on my 301. I love the REALISTIC turntable. These are hard to find....at least here in Europe. But even on Japanese auctionsites you hardly see one.

I play Frank on Reprise records, and I have quite a few. for the music. But the sound on those Reprise's, even when they're remastered, is thin and papery on top, sounding as if they're bandwidth limited above 10khz, not fully fleshed out in the mids, and lacking in impact below 200hz.

Sounds good. Sounds like reverb and warmth. Maybe the lack? of room acoustics is coloring the sound with waves? I'm not seeing any a/t.
