It's 12/2023, I sailed on the Fascination in 2017 and was booked to sail back on her in 2020, but due to COVID our cruise was canceled, and so for all of the cruises out of San Juan. It's too bad that Carnival will not reopen the cruise port. That was the best city to cruise out of, you spend the day in Old San Juan, eating and enjoying the people. I miss San Juan.

I've completed two visits to Half Moon and I did two drone flights. 1st time, no problem. 2nd time, the lifeguard tried to tell me this was a private island and I came there on Carnival! LOL! I just landed it without incident. The 1st time, I had a permit in my bag and no one even cared! LOL! Regardless, such a peaceful and beautiful place for a drone! No nagging airports to worry about either!

That was our first time there. I just did some research on any drone regulations but did not find any specific ones for here. They did not give me any issues. Things could have changed from 2 years ago. Glad you were able to capture some footage though. It is a beautiful place.

Yes, they do have an outdoor area. Its small but it has a few kids slides. Enjoy your time.

I was working that day. I was at our parking booths for a few hours, then went to the Family Care Center in Planet Snoopy, Break, then was at the from gate for a little and then ended my shift back at our parking booths. Met up with my friends after I was done work to enjoy the park and rides.

Looks amazing. We are going on her over Labor Day our first cruise to Alaska. But not our first cruise we have 16 under our belt. How was port of Seattle in checking in? Looked like a lot of people

Awesome. Alaska is absolutely beautiful. Seattle’s port was a little different than what we have experienced before. The part where you have to drop your own luggage off before you check in made the process take a little longer than usual. Once you drop your bags off, we were checked in and onboard in about 10-15 mins.

Any issues flying your drone there, besides near maho beach being a no go?

None at all. Maho beach is a few miles away. Definitely don’t want to fly by any airports. Check the local drone laws before flying. This was taken about 2 1/2 years ago. Laws may have changed since then.

It wasn’t difficult at all. Just check with local laws before you fly anywhere. I didn’t have any issues flying here.

@@scottfrom.scottandsheds The drone used was a DJI Mavic Mini. You do not have to register a drone under 250grams. However, this video was taken about a year and half ago. You may want to check any updated local laws wherever you fly. I did not have to when I visited but it is always recommended.

Hello 😊, Our kids were not. You will need to fill out an exemption form for them. Also, they will not be allowed to get off the ship unless you have a bubble tour booked through Carnival or are visiting a private island such as Half Moon Cay or Princess Cays.

The pool is part of Resorts World. You can access it from either beach stop on the free tram. You do have to purchase a day pass to access all the amenities.

Carrie Thank you 😊. There are activities on board for the little ones. I would definitely recommend reserving a table for the Dr. Seuss breakfast. They will really enjoy that. They also have a parade and story time. They may be scheduled on two different days most likely on Sea Days. Have Fun & Enjoy your cruise. 😊
