The room is beautiful ! I have a mild form of autism, I get made fun of a lot for loving the great rock band AC/DC, so my mom tried to make my room rock themed. But back to the being made fun of part, people don’t know that having special needs is not something people ask for, it’s just given to us, I don’t know much about scoliosis, but I feel your daughter is a beautiful girl inside and out! I’m so sorry she can’t actually communicate with you. That must suck. I’m the youngest child of six children, my father died last year on Malcolm Young’s birthday January 6, from lung cancer, my mother is a beautiful biracial Scottish immigrant and I know race has nothing to do with it but I am very proud of her. She was a police officer in the state of South Carolina for 35 years, I’m special-needs but I’m not stupid is what I tell people. It’s my dream to be a musician, but we lost everything in a house fire a few years back, I’m just now starting to get financially and mentally stable from it. She works in NYC, helping bring girls out of 'the life'. I don't think it's very common for children to be stolen in the US though it does happen, and it's most shocking when it happens that way. Most of the individuals sex trafficked in the US are from young teen to early 20s and come from underprivileged backgrounds. A man in his 20s or 30s finds a lonely girl with little family watching her (usually inner city girls of color) and targets her, pretending to be her boyfriend. Eventually he turns and coerces her through manipulation to sell herself, always keeping control of her and threatening severe violence if she doesn't do what he says. The news is full of drama and humans being the drama junkies they are, cling to it. Many to most sexual assaults on girls and women though occurs by people they know. Trafficking starts with mental and emotional manipulation by someone she deems a lover and morphs into abuse and violence to keep her stuck there.
