I would say so. In my opinion, this is unisex lending slightly feminine. The OG (Atomic Rose), is also unisex but leaning slightly deeper/masculine. Hope that helps. ☺

Has your Rifaaqat performance improved over time? After My first wearing (5 sprays), I’m experiencing 4-6 hours longevity with 1.5-2 hours of projection

I feel like it got a little better with time, but I wasn't disappointed with it's performance at all during my first few wears either. At the present moment I am literally down to my last, maybe, 10 ml in my bottle...and I'm sad about it. Let it sit for a bit and maybe come back to it in a month or so. Hope that helps. ☺

I own Babycat and Rifaaqat, and agree with her review. I paid $50 Cdn. for an 80 ml.bottle of Rifaaqat and 200 Euro ($295 Cdn.) for 75 mls. of Babycat in Portugal, so the former is the better buy by a factor of more than six to one. . I would also mention that the performance of Rifaaqat leaves something to be desired. If Paris Corner could improve the projection and sillage of this otherwise exemplary product, I would pay double the price with glee. I've heard of some people layering these scents to derive more mileage from their Babycat. Dominic Ropion's Babycat is a masterpiece. It is sad indeed that it is so hard to find and so very pricey.

Yes, love them both but Babycat has a certain something on Rifaaqat, and is a little less sweet in my opinion. These two are my favorite vanillas! Thanks for watching and sharing! ☺

In my opinion it’s definitely a very feminine scent. but if you are into fruity-floral fragrances, I would say try to get your hands on a small decant to see for yourself. And if you aren’t into it, it makes for a nice gift for someone who digs that scent profile. Hope that helps!

Yes, most definitely! This is a fragrance that you have to be patience with, let it sit for a few weeks bare minimum. Hopefully it will improve a bit, mine did! ☺

I don’t even like vanilla or lavender and this perfume is amazing 😮💨😍 when I looked up the notes I was like you’re joking 😭 now someone got me hooked on framed by Paco Rabanne, which also has vanilla with Jasmine and mango. Definitely smell that one if you haven’t.

Yo!!!! When you said that’s wild, that’s exactly the word I said. There is a wild note in there, the musk and it smells GAMEY. I can’t get past that! I don’t think musk is good for me, too animalice. I wasn’t too impressed. I like qimmah so much better. Idk I’ll try wearing it again. I really thought it would be sexier and more cacao notes

Wow, gamey is wild...lol. I can't say I ever got that with Nebras. For me the wild part was how tamed and muted the fragrance seemed on the initials sprays. Definitely thought it would have been more cacao filled but at the time it was light. However, after it letting it sit....the fragrance got better and the cacao got stronger. Maybe it give it a few weeks and revisit it. Thanks for sharing. ☺

I bought this fragrance about 3 months ago and in has changed a lot! The vanilla is waaay more prominent, and the black pepper is not as sharp as it was in the beginning. It's spring time now, so it's going to sit until fall/winter and I do believe it is going to be even better. I have no option to try Babycat where I live, so I'm bumbed about that, but as a stand alone fragrance, Rifaaquat is really amazing.

I get where you are coming from but I don't know if people are necessarily lying in their reviews. My bottle definitely did change with time and became much stronger than it was with my initial impressions. Some people might have just reviewed their bottles later in the fragrance journey. I think $20 is a good deal especially if you are willing to wait for the fragrance to mature a bit. You might enjoying it more in the long run. Hope that was helpful. ☺

Did you give it away because it wasn't a closer enough clone for you or because in general the scent wasn't doing it for ya? Someone recently mentioned that they thought Nayel Queen was a better clone, however I can't speak on it as I have never tried it myself.

YSL Babycat has to be the most overated, overhyped and overpriced fragrance out there imo. Rifaaqat ticks all the right boxes if this is the type of fragrance you enjoy.

Thank you for your honest opinion. I also blind bought. Once I sprayed for the first time ever it seems kind of strong. When I spray on skin it leaves oil on my arm as it I put on some body oil. The scent does not even last. Once I spray it it very light and u can smell it after 1hr. I had a coupon so I didn't pay full price. But this perfume is overhyped I have body mist that are better. Also it has a minty smell. It's not super gourmand. It's not giving at all. Don't waste your money it's a disappointment

The trick with this perfume is that it really does need to macerate, a least for a few weeks. I left my bottle alone for a like a month and when I went back to it, it performed like a champ. I wouldn't say that even with letting it macarate that it's beast mode but I also don't think it's a waste of money. However, it does need time to mature to perform the way it should. I've also heard that there was a minty vibe from other people as well. I don't really remember smelling mint when I first got my bottle and I definitely haven't smelled any as the fragrance has matured.Maybe give it some time to sit and you might be pleasantly surprised when you come back to it. Hope that helps.🙂

Oh that's a hard one to answer.I really enjoy both, but to be honest I feel like the scent of Babycat is more addictive for me. I LOVE both fragrances though and they are both in my top 5 vanilla fragrances. Hope that helps. 🙂

Don't get me wrong, I still think this is a great perfume. But what I noticed with a lot of bargain-friendly middle eastern fragrances is that they need time to sit for a bit before they are truly at their best. In the long run this fragrance was great but it needed to mature for a few weeks. That was the trade off, but well worth it in my opinion. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching.☺

Sometimes, truth be told, you really can detect the quality difference and that's for sure. In this case with Rifaaqat the quality difference isn't by much, but in my opinion Babycat still edges out Rifaaqat...not necessarily by leaps and bounds, but it's still ahead. Hope that helps. ☺

Ok, ok. I bought a sample y'all and it's a journey: My package came in the mail, I skipped in the house, tore that bad boy open: *spray, spray*😯...🤔...😮. I.... just dont know. Now, I haven't tried Babycat. But, Rifaaqat is a bitter, incensy, vanilla. This is not for cupcakey, sugar-sweet vanilla scent types. You will find this is a vanilla cupcake bakery filled with strong incense burning in metal trays. BUT I cant stop smelling it! It is refined, grown up and mysterious. Now, would I layer with Vanilla 28 to round out the edges for easier eveyday wear? Yes. Even better for layering: Indult Tihota. A deeper vanilla. The seller was kind enough to include a sample of that with the Rifaaqat and I SEE what she did there. Last one ive been thinking of is to pair with BDK Nuit de Sable. Another incensy fragrance that leans way sweeter but gives similar vibes. I'm not mad at Rifaaqat at all! Very interesting and glad I'm trying it out!

I’ve just sold my 125ml bottle of Babycat that I’ve used maybe 5-6 times, and blind ordered Rifaaqat. The extra money will go towards La Capitale. Win-win. And no regrets.

Can I ask you why you sold it ?! My favorite fregrance and will be always in my collection is La capitale, it took my heart from first sniff that I had to get a backup bottle, I am planning to get Babycat but still can’t decide, the good side is that I will pay only 230$ for the 125ml it’s still too much money if I wouldn’t like it 😐

I would say that $230 for a blind buy might be too much, but at the end of the day that's for you to decide. $230 for a 125ml Babycat to me is worth it, but that's because I love the fragrance. If you are truly unsure, try Rifaaqat. Hope that helps.
