😂😂 At 13.40 when Peter asks who's going first, one of the kids shouts "Bay City Rollers!" I'm guessing it was a cheeky improv 🤣🤣

I remember watching this series on German TV in the late 70's. It was called "Spuk im Haus" (Hauting in the House).

If anyone could send me….the lyrics of Fanny‘s song….I‘ll be sooo grateful…..and…..I’ll sing that song to my grand nieces….on Halloween 😊 This was my favourite episode 😄 I loved the songs especially 😊 PS. I found the song “The Unfortunate Miss Bailey“… written by George Colman, an English dramatist (1732-1794), now…I‘ll sing this song on this Halloween 🎃😆😄😁😉

Great 2 seasons, thanks for posting them. Cool to see what Newscastle looked like in 1978. Also, to see actor Glynn Edwards as the news agent, before he portrayed Dave the bar tender at ' The Winchester Club' in the iconic TV series " Minder". Best regards. A fan of UK TV, from British Columbia, Canada..

Thanks for posting both series. I am a Canadian in British Columbia, I like these kinda griity 1970's TV shows from the UK. The CBC ( Canadian Broadcasting Corporation ) back in the late '70's until around 1987 used to have TV programmes from the UK on after midnight, stuff like ' Minder', 'The Sweeney", etc.. Guess that's where I developed a taste for shows like 'The Paper Lads'. It is great that KZfaq is full of interesting vintage TV from " Ol' Blighty".

This was a great series. Pity there wasn't a 3rd one but it's understandable since the lads were becoming teenagers by this point. Nonetheless I love The Paper Lads.

I was intrigued whilst watching this series about the Rainbow poster the children kept walking past. It turns out its a print of an advert for The Rainbow comic which existed from 1914 until 1956.
