All I gotta say defense got horrible when they added dunk meters in the game , you can’t give a offensive players a meter to dunk with and leave the defensive mf’s hoping they don’t green it you can play perfect defense and all of a sudden mf get bailed out by the meter

the little things made 24 a great game. things like being able to to be creative with layups/floater. interceptor actually taking some skill and it be rewarding. but dribbling makes a skill gap, 24 lacks that skill gap bc of the explosiveness and not being able to quick stop. so getting open is harder. hopefully they cook with 25 🙏

In my opinion I think this gameplay of this game is the worst its been for a while! There is too many variables to the shooting, with the timing changes, incorrect readings on shot contest, the random bad shot selections, and etc. with the defense, I wouldn't even go as far to say the defense is good. The defense is so crazy with the random canned animations. Not being able to move whenever bumped and right stick ripper after 1 sec of dribbling. IMO 22 is the best next gen 2K...

Passes need a rework. In real life people use bounce passes off a pick and roll all the time to get a better angle. In 2k, with 95 pass acc I’ll just bounce it into the defenders knee instead of wrapping it around

But there should be nothing positive going to 2k on any level of course it should look better its another year they have with next gen consoles. But everything about the game is trash, manipulated, and set on only one thing. 2k has got us running around like robots doing everything but playing a basketball game competitively and enjoyably.. the biggest slap to our face is THEY KNOW HOW TO MAKE A GOOD GAME AND MAKE IT ENJOYABLE. I've made both the first and second builds of the video. I'd recommend the first, as there's more ball handling and therefore less chance of getting the ball, and the dribbling animations are clearly the best. There's no comparison between 92 and 86, as everything has already been demonstrated on 2K lab. Having produced the first and second video constructions. I'd recommend the first, as it involves more ball handling and therefore less risk of the ball being taken away from you ( 92 ball control) . The 70 in passing can suffice, and there's not much difference between the basic passing animation pack and Ja Morant's. See no difference It's better to have a 92 3-pointer than an 86. I find that the difference between the two is visible on contested shots. It's easier to shoot with a 92 3-pointer. And above all, don't neglect the 91 in interception, believe me, don't go below it... You'll miss a great interception opportunity, especially in the hands of a player taller than you ;)

That second build is damn near my exact build just with 75 swb and a 68 block and it’s the best build I ever made hit mvp in a week

This 2k would be better if the dribble moves and controls in general were more responsive, I shouldn't do a move and my player just stands there sometimes and then does the move after the 3rd button/stick press

They need to stop taking away dribble moves out the game every year there’s so many good moves from those 2ks u talked about that wasn’t in the next which is why people been dribbling the same 2k24 all u really see is that behind the back because there’s nothing better to use u can’t really burst out of certain animations 2k25 they need to expand dribbling you should be able to cancel out of any animation and burst out of it watch that open up the dribbling you wouldn’t see everyone rocking the same sigs

2k20 was fun but you was able to hit a 100% contested 3 consistently which made it kinda dumb

24 is decent simple as that u can play cheesy or sim and still win at a high rate even with randoms sometimes if you limit yo games like you lose 1 wit randoms thats it find a team they just lack in the sig styles and the rewards top 10 is cool but once the grinders get there but after that the sim/comp/casual is left with nothing to do but make new players that all gonna feel the same in the end 😂😂😂

The only complaint I have about 2K24 is the server/input delay. That’s it, that’s all. Top 5 or even Top 3 2K without that issue.

So many different ways to score. I think it is a very well-balanced game. Like you said, there aren’t many exploits. If you have a high steal, then you should be able to steal a lot. If you have a very high 3-point shot, then 3’s should be your main way of scoring. People complain too much about everything and everybody still stuck on their nostalgia bias. This 2K is MY best 2K experience

For the love of GOD please fix passing. 2k24 is almost worse than 2k23 for this. So many passes just go straight off a defender's face. I have 98 pass builds that can't make a simple bounce pass or throw the worst animation for the pass at the worst time. Before 2k22 was killed, I went back and hopped on my 99 pass build there for a couple of hours of rec. I didn't have a single animation go off a defender's face and It's a 5'10 build. The pass animation and gameplay was crisp with seemingly little input delay. The rest all depends on the builder for me. They need to make it more free form. If i want a 6'10 with 95 ball handle, 90 swb, and 98 pass, I should be able to make it. The rest of my attributes would be sub 70 or 75 then though. If i want to make a 7' with 95 3 ball, I should be able to(you can't tell me KD or dirk wouldn't have that irl). My other attributes should be capped at like 75 then though, or I could get another category in the 80s but everything else is in the 60s. It should really allow us to create the builds we used to be able to see. I believe could make a 7' stretch with 96 3 ball in 2k19. You could make a 6'10 with 95 ball handle and 95 pass, but they were balanced out with the rest of their stats being limited. Attributes shouldn't be capped because of height. Who said a 7'3 center can't have 99 pass? You could still make builds like today. Joe Knows build - 94 dunk, 92 3 ball, 92 ball handle, 58 perimeter defense type builds should still be possible with this so you could still be an overall offensive demon or chose to be an absolute demon on defense. Also make positions more fluid. If I want a 6'10 PG, let me make it. These players exist IRL as basketball is becoming position-less. All of this is reliant on gameplay to not be completely imbalanced either. If you could make a 7'3 build with 95 ball handle and 40 speed with ball and cook like you could in 2k24 with L2 canceling or whatever, that's probably broken too. The animations have to be balanced to what a builder like this could do.
