Thank you to Mattie and the whole Alter family for making this sermon public for the world, this sermon has really touched me and pushed me to pursue finding a home church for the first time in 15 years. I see this church and an empowered to seek one just like it again. Thank you for helping me even if I’m in New Mexico. Love

Watching from Pittsburgh PA!! I remember the band for For Today and remember how passionate Mattie was about the Gospel. Years have gone by since I listened to them until recently they popped up on my playlist which then drove me to search on what Mattie has been up to. And I stumbled upon The Altar church and everyday I’ve been listening to the podcast. But one sermon in particular wrecked me and that was the Lost Boys part 1 and 2. I have been both a prodigal and the older brother. Thank you Mattie and Altar church for what you guys do. I hope and pray to one day visit your guys church. Stay blessed.

I have loved this song for many many years. The Alter has taken a classic song filled with the power of Jesus and amplified it. The new verse and bridge bring the song full circle. Personally this song has helped carry me through many of those dark days and years that we face. Jesus is our ONLY hope, and I need Him every moment.

I'm a huge fan of Preachcore, including For Today (immortal album is the best imo). Alot of the vocalists in this genre have either been burned by the church or just see the establishment as an impediment to the kingdom. That's why I praise God for leading Mattie back to be a conduit for his spirit, to bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ, making TRUE disciples, and testifying to the truth! Hallelujah Amen! I pray for you, Pastor Mattie! From Oregon w/ ❤

A storms been coming for days now and I forgot my awning, so I jammed it at the last minute, trying to do things in a hurry, ya know. So I finally spoke to the awning and it didn't release so I spoke to the storm and it growled back at me, so i took this message i was listening to outside & the it worked. The storm knows your voice, it trust your words, it believes your message. I keep telling you people he's a prophet. Y'all gotta try this.

People need the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. too many pastors are ignorant of the Spiritual side of things. We are a SPIRITUAL people… it’s so much more than just head knowledge and contemplation. It’s a Spiritual battle.

If she does not please her master who has selected her for himself, then he is to allow her to be redeemed. He will have no power to sell her to a foreign people, seeing as he has dealt deceitfully toward her. If he betroths her to his son, he must give her the rights of a daughter. If he takes another wife, he is not to diminish her food, her clothing, or her marriage rights. If he does not provide these three to her, then she is to go free without payment.” Exodus 21:7-11 TLV

One of his brothers may redeem him, or his uncle or his uncle’s son may redeem him, or anyone who is a close relative to him from his family may also redeem him. Or if he has grown rich, he may redeem himself. He is to calculate with the one who bought him, from the year that he sold himself to the Year of Jubilee, and the price of his sale will be in proportion to the number of years.
