Thank you sir. I live in LA and only have a tiny backyard but ever Spring I get super stoked to grow shit. And every Summer I’m back at ur site to find out how much BT to mix for my sprayer. You deserve the golden 👍 bc I’ve visited at least 5 X.

I dont know what to do. I did a tester of new grass seed (expensive) and i found catipillars eating away and killing grass. Now i have to overseed tomorrow and dont know what else to do. Feels like im about to waist 2,000 on my lawn due to freaking catipillars. Cant apply every 7 days when you cant walk on lawn ya know!

I have water lines running to my towers but they definitely need float valves. How will the valves help control my water? Will the floats only work with water coming from a reservoir tank? Thank you.

I have 3 timers all work when set to ON but for some reason don’t seem to work when set to TIME. Also I find it very difficult to turn the dial. Have no idea why or if I can do anything to fix it. Also what effect this problem might have on the problem I’m having with the timer. PLEASE help me

Hello Syma, Unfortunately when this has happened to me it was an indication that the timer is most likely broken. The first time I had this happen I opened up the timer (of course after unplugging it and taking it to my workbench) and found that one of the plastic gears or other parts was broken and preventing the timer from moving properly.

Hello , My timer is new only Indoor and outdoor settings . I live in a temperate area most days and nights 50-68 degrees. Have you any wisdom for the new timers ? There is no dial for the 15-45 which sounds ideal .

Today I discovered that all of my cucumber plants, as well as my cantaloupes are infected with pickle worms. Every single fruit had worm holes. Are they all too far gone at this point? I threw the infested fruits in the compost bin. Should I have killed the worms first? If I pull them out and soak the infested fruits in the bt solution, will that kill them? This is the first year growing these types of plants. Any advice is appreciated!

Hello, sorry for the long delay, life got in the way of working our property with taking care of older parents and multiple hurricanes and flooding on the property, Finally getting back to checking on our channel. Unfortunately, one the pickle worm attacks the fruit there is not much you can do to salvage it other then cutting off the bad part and saving what they haven't infested. Once the pickle worm gets in the fruit many times it becomes chicken feed. We have found that starting to use the Bt early in the growing season is the best method to get the most out of the crop.

I live in N.E Florida west of Jacksonville. I have 1/3 of an acre and grow a lot of vegetables. I have used dust and it worked ok. I just got the BT and I hope it will work better! Thanks for the advice. I will update you in a few weeks.

Thanks for the vid. I assume it needs to be re applied after a rain?
@Project-vo2un
@Project-vo2un Жыл бұрын
Yes, if you get a heavy rain it will wash it away, We usually treat every 3 to 4 days during the pickle worm season whether it rains or not that way we can ensure we are getting as many of the caterpillars as possible.

You must be an engineer 😉. I think you overthought it a bit but I like the idea of adding additional air stones. A couple of questions. Looks like I have the same type of air pump. Do you think it pushes enough air? Where did you get the T connections to attach additional stones? I’m a lazy dude so any help directing me to your connections, stones, etc would be appreciated. I’ve been using the 400 micron paint strainers from Home Depot as my tea bag. I simply rinse them out and air dry to reuse. It’s quite an addicting and fun activity and I’ve seen significant improvement on some specimen trees of mine that are in decline. Appreciate your information and thank you for showing me what I could do if I had more ambition. Thank you

Hello - good question. If you have new plants (transplanting into the tower) or seedlings you want to start with a solution that is not full strength. If your mix is full strength it can harm the seedlings, after they start to grow you can then add additional nutrients to bring the level up to the 400 ml. Thanks for the question!

Such a helpful video. I watched it before using a holesaw for the first time, and the tips about drilling the pilot hole first, and then using the drill in reverse were excellent. I ended up with a perfect 40mm hole, which fitted the inward pipe like a dream.

I can't find the Tork 602A, only the 602B, but it only has 30 minute on and off cycles not 15 minute on and off cycles. I think Tork lost a market with that change.

Oil goes rancid fast in 🔥, so don't do it in the summer. if you keep it outdoors. Sprayers get clogged as well if you leave it in them >>> as quick as 1 day. This is why I use Ivory Soap and water to clean the line & tank >>>> and to murder the ants directly applying the Neem. 😊 Neem Oil can hinder pollination too, so, and even if they're still closed, cover the flowers with your hand. 🇺🇸
