I didnt know Johnny passed, watched another video with a comment mentioning it. The Amazing Johnathan is a core memory of mine growing up in the 80's to 90's. "Its magic, fuck you!" Is something my family would yell in the house (mother especially, we were a crude household lol). I had watched the documentary on ATC, i believe before he passed. I feel not enough credit goes towards Johnathan and how his stylings may have influenced the industry. Rest in Power super chief.

The finger snap explosion, reminds me of using the striker from a book of matches, to make a coin smoke when rubbed. I don't remember how to do it though. I remember cutting the strip off, and peeling the paper off of it. Then, I think, I rolled it up, and put it on top of a coin, and lit it on fire. It leaves a brown residue on it. After it cools off, rub it. Smoke, amazing.

I laughed and I cried. I laughed so hard I almost died. R.I.P.

I'm back a year later to watch this again. I wish they would upload all the stuff they cut out with Tom. Even if it was boring I'd still be interested in seeing the footage.

I hope Jack was right and this is Forever in memory. Unless I’ve missed the news it also appears Jacks magic is still going strong cause it’s 2023 and I think he’s still alive while R.I.P. Amazing Jonathan
