From what I’ve watched here,Thomas Muller usually plays as a shadow striker whenever he’s in a Central Attacking Midfielder position but whenever he’s out on the wing,he is usually a raumdeter. That’s another advantage of Thomas muller’s game. His versatility is very crucial to Bayern as his football IQ in each position helps compensate for his lack of pace, strength and technical ability

You actually present little or no evidence that the tournament was fixed. Just supposition and rumour. An opposition player sent off against England (from what I have read in contemporaneous reports of the game, he deserved to go) and a ball that may or may not have crossed the line. (to me it looks, in some footage, to have bounced on the line, but did it curve after hitting the bar?) All pretty flimsy in my opinion. If you really look at world cup winners over the years you will see that many of them have had a share of 'luck'.

At least, this was no goal, but under the circumstances of that time, not provable. But to get a star for that is ridiculous. During the 4th goal, there were people on the field, which caused irritation. So finally I must say, the englishmen seemed to be pretty unfair to win the title this way. But wtf, its history. When I was young, everybody in germany said, that was exxtrem unfair. But - the englishmen have to live with that dirty star on their shirts. And in fair conditions, they never won a second. "Some people are on the pitch," so under the rules of football, the referee should have stopped play. So the game finished 2-2. Then as it was in those times, it would have been a toss of the two-headed coin, which England, of course, would have won.

@freddysquirenaranjo4859 Misled? By the fact that there were two illegitimate goals in a 4-2 win would have meant that England wouldn't have won the World Cup. It's a self-evident, basic arithmetical fact. What would have emanated from tossing a coin, cutting a pack of cards, or a replay that would have transpired after the 2-2 that should have been the result are entirely open to conjecture. Nothing misleading there.

Much is made of that third goal but was that a foul by Jackie Charlton which led to the equaliser? And as the ball was bouncing around the six yard box, did the German number three control the ball with the back of his arm? That being the case the game shouldn't have gone into extra time. Having said that, Hurst's third goal definitely did NOT cross the line. Was it a scandal? So many tournaments have left a sour taste in my mouth. Argentina 1978, Italy 1990 and Korea 2002 has got to be the worst and most blatant. Then there was Lampard's goal that never was against Germany in South Africa. Anyway, I don't think winning a tournament on home soil is much to celebrate. you can only call a nation succesful if it's won away from home. Just my opinion.

The 1966 World Cup final was hosted by England, who defeated West Germany and Spain easily. It has been the center of many conspiracy theories over time that have tainted FIFA’s reputation for success with each new day; it would only get worse when Joao Havelange claimed in 1998 throught out Folha de Sao Paulo “In three matches played that year Brazilian national team play without any black players on their roster which led them to lose all contested headers against Europe. The 1966 England versus Portugal semi-final was a magical moment in World Cup history that is often forgotten today. The game had been scheduled to be played at Goodison Park, where the Portuguese national team resides but “at last minute” FIFA (though some say it’s English FA we’ll go with) granted an accommodation for their weary guests - requiring them only two hours travel time from Liverpool instead four five plus hour trip if taking coaches which most likely took nearly as long then getting there when they arrived on British soil late into evening after playing several matches during tournament days past without sleep or rest! Sir Stanley Rouse, the then president of FIFA rejected Portuguese request for arbitration because he thought it would be “the greatest betrayal in sporting history” if football’s world governing body agreed with England and awarded them host nation duties over his home country. The match between England and Portugal was scoreless up until the 30th minute when Bobby Charlton scored his team’s first goal. The 2-1 victory came from another two goals by England in addition to Eusebio scoring a penalty kick late into second half additional time; all after being down 1-0 early on.”

What a load of nonsense. You fail to say that England did not play in the first three world cups so to say they'd never won it without adding that is misleading. England were actually World champions 3 times by winning the Olympic football tournament, which before the world cup started was considered the world football championship. The Argentinians were the dirtiest team in the competition, even worse than Bulgaria, who kicked Pele to death. It has long been proven by modern technology that England's third goal in the final did cross the line but you also seem to forget that England scored a fourth goal so even if the third goal had not counted they still won the match. Watch the whole 120 minutes of the final and you will see England were the better team on the day so nothing lucky about that !!!

There are always commercial considerations in these tournaments. England played Portugal at Wembley to ensure the match sold out the biggest stadium, which Germany vs Soviet Union would not. Controversial decisions usually go in favour of the home side, and in favour of the bigger countries. In 1950 in Brazil, a Yugoslav player was injured while entering the field (from the away changing room at the uncompleted Maracana the players had to cross a building site), and not allowed to be treated while the national anthems were played, so he did not get on the field until after Brazil had scored. The bent Welsh referee writes in his book about "communist officials" arguing with him about this, yet four years later he is the linesman who disallows a last-minute equaliser for Puskas (captain of "communist" Hungary) so it is reasonable to suspect the official might be prejudiced. Would Bertie Vogts be allowed to mark Johann Cruyff as he did in 1974, had the match not been in Germany? Multiple cheating in 1978 in Argentina, and Korea in 2002, Garrincha sent off in the semi-final in 1962 yet allowed to play in the final against a small country (& "communist") Czechoslovakia, Mal Donnachie sent off in Spain in 1982, playing against Spain? It is a surprise if there is not cheating.
