Hey Michael i work at sam club and we have the cart manager sx two of them and two ultras but the sx’s the battery dies quick we get a line of carts and the battery will go down from full to one green bar left or two so is the problem id the battery or something else

I got a old one up and running again. with lawn mower batteries and CRC QD electronic cleaner. cost me $60 now I need tires.

How do I fix a cart mule that stops moving at all with throttle (gives throttle error). Its a constant issue and the whole potentiometer, gears, and bottom shaft/motor have already been replaced which fixed it for awhile but the issue keeps coming back.

How much is a locking wheel

I am wanting a un lock radio frequency device so I can return shopping cart back to my local store that I find in my neighborhood. Gate keeper is used by both stores. I find 3-4 carts per week in my housing track.

I bought one of these and ripped out everything and hooked the motor up to a Optima yellow top battery.. I haven't really looked on how to get it to run in reverse.. do you happen to know what color wire it would normally be for reverse? Thanks BTW I'm gonna put a predator gas engine in it eventually lol

They have no respect for these machines i worked for walmart on and of as a cart pusher and i never scratched my mule the xdwi model of the cart manager xd was thier best model no restrictions and not as senstive to the weather the sx is basically the same machine just uses 2 batterys and a resdesigned transaxle walmart needs to get the xd plus model transaxles are built alot better

I repaired my foldable cart. It needed new back wheels. So I bought some lawnmower wheels. But they had an axle hole diameter of 0.500", while the cart has axle diameters of 0.375". Fortunately, I had just replaced the brass seats in my bathroom and kitchen taps, and now had the chance to put these old ones to good use. The brass seats have an internal diameter of 0.375" and an external threaded diameter of just over 0.50". So I screwed one brass seat into each side of each lawnmower wheel. Now the wheels had the proper 0.375" axle hole diameter. I also had added plastic cardboard sheets to the sides, front and back and floor, of the foldable cart, but had to fold the side panels out of the way when folding the cart. To hold the side panels in place when open, I used strong magnets taken from two old dead computer hard drives. LOL

Do you happen to know what the new Gatekeeper carts with the blue dot grey dot are for? are they just a modern version of the yellow dot grey dot or something else? They seem to be used on new fleets of carts and I'm wondering what's the difference?

I got a question on the batteries about a month and a half to two months ago. We got new batteries in our SX and they are smaller than the old ones are are those the right batteries

I work for Walmart in maintenance and I work on a lot of Value Shoppers between the 3 stores I work at and I have a couple MartCarts too, I like your tutorial and would like to see you put a new Amigo motor/brake assembly in sometime but I have done one so far. Also if you could talk about the back wheel axles, it seems like they come in different lengths depending on the version you have. I maintain 30 carts altogether at the 3 stores and I keep spare parts on the truck or at the stores, batteries, seat covers and switches, back wheels, a charger or two and some cables.

you should put in washers at the ends of the bolt and nut heads securing the the wheel to the caster as to replace the wheel in the future the bolt rusts solid in the bearings of the wheel making removal of the wheel difficult as the washers allow you to grind off the nut and bolt heads with an angle grinder to change the wheel as its essential in areas where there is snow and excess humidity mainly in the northeastern US states and coastal areas where the stores are near the ocean and the salt water in the air can rust them solid to make removal of the wheel difficult with the anti tilt on. if the wheel is rivited on its best to grind the rivit heads off and remove the rivit before welding in the anti tilt. they can be installed in out of production shopping carts like United steel and wire, and Tote Cart, as the anti tilt can be installed on the older technibilt and Rehrig carts and some Tote carts and some Unarco/ Folding carrier corp carts using the same process as the Unarco. as the later Tote and all United its measuring and trial and error to properly fit the anti tilts to the carts. many independant store owners tend to use older carts from the 1960s to now of the same size and basket capacity.
