Beautiful garden tour! Cottage gardens are my favourite. What was that at 35:25? A butterfly? An orb? Or shall I just imagine a lovely little garden fairy joining you on the tour!

Japanese Beetles have been goin crazy over here - planted 3 weeping cherry blossom trees a month ago and they've become outposts for the beetles :( Luckily the beetle bag solution works and the birds have been getting fat. Beautiful garden!

Once again - your garden is looking stunning. I would never put slugs in my compost heap. Imagine them laying eggs and you putting them all over your garden. I know exactly what you mean about the Fairy Roses. Mine are the same. 🙄 Hugs from Germany

Those annuals are so striking with the different blends of color purple. Makes me so proud of nature. On the SunPatients I like how much space it takes up, Double Inpatients are so gorgeous. Color in nature wether from stones to liquids and gases is so fascinating, love how all the all these combine foster the growth of such diversity in flowers. Anna does crushing up crystal stones and putting it the soil help the flowers in anyway?? Forgive me, I'm ignorant on the topic of gardening but I sense there might be some of synergetic connectio. Also you're quite the builder, those landguard containers seem awesome for the job.

Out here in California, salvia is a definite show stopper in my garden. The vibrancy of the blues and purples, along with the tall spiky chartreuse and dark green leaves is incredible. It is the focal point of my garden. I have the biggest bees I have ever seen hovering on them constantly. I also love the pop of white alyssum at their feet. Of course, your garden is always magical, and is beyond anything I can have in my little suburban front yard. But it does not keep me from trying to make mine as special, and colorful and peaceful as possible.
@OurCottageGarden3 күн бұрын
Aw that sounds like such a lovely combination! I might try the alyssum with the salvias next year. I have a purple alyssum underneath a peach colored rose, but I think a white alyssum with blue saliva would be gorgeous. Thanks for sharing :)
