If Food grade diatomaceous earth is used as an home insect repellent and even for bed bugs but they say it's not good to inhale because it damages the lungs. Won't it affect the lungs just by having it around your house and mattresses?
@CiaoBedBugs7 күн бұрын
To minimize this risk when using Diatomaceous Earth for bed bugs, apply it carefully, avoid creating dust clouds, and ensure good ventilation. It is advisable to wear a mask during application and clean up any excess to reduce airborne particles. You can also check this video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ralkiLeWrZ--fHk.html

I learned that borax and boric acid are two very different things. You’re talking about borax in the video but boric acid is used in the description so it’s a little confusing
@CiaoBedBugsАй бұрын
Absolutely, I understand the confusion. While both borax and boric acid contain boron, they serve different purposes. Borax is a naturally occurring mineral often used in cleaning and laundry products, while boric acid is a derivative used primarily as a pesticide, antiseptic, or in some cases, as a buffering agent in pharmaceuticals. Boric acid can be used against bed bugs but with precautions! Thank you for the notice! Here is another video that you may like: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/htZ3bMp2trXFYH0.html

Yes!!!! I was curious whether they were still around after practically killing off the nest in my headboard. I did exactly what you suggested using a high heat dryer across the surface of my mattress. After about 10 minutes they started coming out not many though because I think I had gotten the majority when I attacked the nest with acetone and vicks vaporub.
@CiaoBedBugsАй бұрын
Acetone + Heat with heat dryer seeams like a good strategy for bed bugs. I would also add a trap at the legs of each bed (How to do it the cheap way here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qcWlf5mrzZ6Wnas.html ) Also you can also add a mattress encasement and Diatomaceous Earth (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ep6EiMKovLu3eqs.html ) and it should do the trick against bed bugs. Best of luck!

It worked for me AFTER i applied it correctly. I used a make up brush and applied on the corners and seams of the bed and the couch. Same thing for their nesting area. Haven’t seen a bug crawling or bug bites ever since. Make sure to leave the dust overnight and reapply.

First of all thank you so much for this content. I have been a victim of a bed bugs in my bed literally. I thought they were in my mattress although when I removed it I didn't find one. However, my daughter notices something moving around my upholsterered head board. So, I grabbed a flashlight and started spraying clorox lemongrass around the board and noticed a particular area where they seemed to be coming out from. So, I then grabbed some q tips laced with vicks vaporub and proceeded to treat the area that was suspected as a potential nest. They literally came out trying to run from vicks and I started noticing little tiny tick looking one which I assumed were the babies. I also noticed adults come out as well. This went on for several hours until they stopped. I'm more than aware of their hiding capabilities so I doused my mattress and around the surrounding areas with Vicks and it seemed to stop them dead in their tracks. After applying the vicks several days went by without any bites where as before I was getting bites every night for several weeks. I haven't seen in several days and I've been repeating the spray and vicks treatments. I also patched up cracks in my outlets conjoined to other rooms in my house to try to isolate the situation.

@reactions_with_willАй бұрын
@@CiaoBedBugs awesome, you would be one of the very few people who actually show if something works or not. Shean woods does a lot of this type of testing, but he mainly focuses on rats and mice. Also i kept hearing that peppermint oil would keep spiders away, so i found a spider and poured the oil right next to it and guess what, he didn't care one little bit. So im pretty much thinking That insects don't care about smells at all. Although the cast from the walking dead say they used peppermint oil to keep the mosquitos from biting them, so I'd love to see someone confirm That. And test it against nats too, if you could find something that actually repels insects you would have a really popular channel for real. Also i keep telling people to try scorpion barrier tape but no one ever makes videos about it. You can pick this up from lows or home depot, they are like 4 dollars a roll and they go to 25 feet. And they are 2 inches wide, so sometimes i would cut them down the middle and have it go to 50 feet for 4 dollars. Now that's very cost effective. And it's just as sticky as fly paper. Actually saw a mouse get stuck in the barrier tape. And people say to use like catch traps under the feet of your bed, but i would think why not just wrap the barrier tape around the bed legs ? They for sure wouldn't get past That, and it would be a lot cheaper too. Then you could actually put the tape access the bed frame, and anywhere else that would create a path to you.
