I already like just going for a horse ride and explore things in KCD 1, but this.... oooooooooo.... this is absolutely stunning, and yeah, the npc models, armor, cloths, details, this is really coming to life. And their CryEngine, wow... BRAVO WARHORSE! The sharpness, colour just, everything, this THIS is nothing short of marvelous, I so wish my parents were alive to show them this. Family was from Germany, the crests painted on the buildings, the wattle and daub houses, styles, really pulls you into almost a time travel dream, can just pause and stare at some of these scenes and almost believe is a memory, or even just a wanderer in disguise. Sure a long way from the commodore 64 and vic 20.... and tandy, apple, etc and so on, and from monochrome to 16 color to this....... beggars belief, too bad kids have not seen how far things have come from that single 7.5" or 3.5" floppy swapping with 128k ram.... 8mhz........ no hard drives, maybe tape drive ... amazing. And what a majestic score so far.. I like to listen as I just pause a frame of any scene, and just get lost in all the detail and lighting and atmosphere, wind, That cryEngine has the detail that really lets the rest of the mind just fill in so much extra percieved small detail.......... graphics are fascinating. OK will shut up now and just enjoy for the 5th time again already. ehehe.

Enemy master strikes/ripostes was ridiculous % ruined the whole combat system yeah, essentially you are getting punished randomly and regularly for just attacking which makes you want to just sit defending and wait to master strike yourself. They said they reworked master strikes tho, we'll see.

The economy change for the better. If you stay in battle longer die three or four times you actually get paid to be in there versus the old way when people just go in. Die once now they're getting penalized for that. You got to stay in longer and utilize what you have available and not just run like a coward 😂

Combat system will be changed in KCD2 i was listening to Czech interview with one of developers and he said this "One of the directions will be removed so at surface it's gonna be simplified and more accessible but you can learn it in-depth which will come with rewards" as with overpowering enemies and being more aggressive it really depends you shouldn't be playing hero specially not against armored knights who are far more skilled then Henry he is peasant after all and when in KCD1 as developer said "You where like good enough to fight in local area maybe you where a champion in some competition in your local village then after moving to Kuttenberg you will be more likely entering on international level of competition."

Why is nobody talking about the balance issues that perks are gonna bring in PvP?? Like imagine you grind out your tactical marine to level 25 and he's op as fuck, then you decide to switch up playstyle to something like Sniper, you won't have any perks and will be at a straight up disadvantage.

I had to cut out a few people from my life who acted like this. They fell further and further down that misogynist rabbit hole, and generally became just awful people to be around. The craziest part was one of the guys that did it, his fiancee played games with us, and she'd get the same treatment from other players and he'd get super pissed, and it was like "bro, that is literally you any time its not your partner" and he'd not understand it.

I absolutely love KCD, but I have to agree on the Combat (for the most part) The advantage of playing defensive is definitely real, but I still thought it was pretty fun. But fighting many enemies at once was the only part I actually disliked about the game

i´m really sorry but the combat in the first game was awesome. the reason a lot of people didnt´t like it is that most people can´t be bothered to actually learn how to fight and forget that henry was just some peasant boy who never in his live swung a sword.
