As soon as you pulled the distributor out i was like "whelp, 3 times to get that right" It's so annoying how difficult those distrubors are to get going. Great video man! That chop sounds absolutely wild! I can't wait to get mine in the rally tercel. That JDM wheel looks great in there! Also, speaking of distributors. It took me a few tries to get it right on spud 2 when i did the distributor seal.

Dude it's so annoying I lined up the pin it popped right it but was wrong I checked the belt it was dead on after checking the distributor a second time popping it back it I just pulled it out randomly and moved it ahead a tooth and boom fixed. I'm like whyyyyyyyyyy don't they ever work when everything's lined up perfectly lol

Cool upgrade, the reason the tappets were so out is because the base circle of the cam has been reduced due to it being a re-grind, I do believe the cam has to break in though, zinc based mineral oil, 2500revs for 20 minutes right after first startup to avoid the lobes from glazing over, then drop the oil, then a fresh oil change, recheck the tappets again, then check the jetting of that carb after all that is done.

Sadly k5 is gone. The 93 blazers been doing good so I haven't had to work on it lol. I'm not sure what else I wanna do to it. I'm debating swapping to the dual piston front calipers and rear disc brakes from the round bodies one day but probably not till next year since the brakes are basically new

Took off carb, took off all 10 bolts.. wont budge when trying to take head out. what am i missing?

If yours is all still stock I'm pretty sure they have a weird triangle shaped bricked under the manifold that's gotta come off and don't forget your 2 exhaust buts that hold the exhaust to the manifold on the passenger side

Heck yeah I love those wheels that came on the 4×4 blazers and pickups those was the best styles . The others they had for 4×4 I never liked just didn't match but these sure do I'd like to get a way to put a set on my pickup just because that's much i like them and have it sit a little higher up but they are way to wide for a 2wd to fit the front unless i had spacers but even then idk not a fan of spacers

Yeah spacer are ok if you make sure you get hub centric ones so your wheel has a hub to set on at the spacer as well. But any more than 1 inch I don't like to run.

Yeah the air locker would be nice if you like hard core off roaded and needed it to just stay locked no matter what at your control but for every day use and some wheeling I like this diff

did you go with a 26 or 28 spline Eaton? I have a Luv truck with V8 swap and S10 rear, but not sure how to find out the model year of the S10 rear. With the 10 bolt 7.5 , I am seeing both 26 and 28 spline. Excellent video!

More than sure it was the 28 spline. But if your unsure pull an axle out and count the splines on it to be sure
