Thank you about your reply. But there are a lot of us that can only look at this on our phones and the print is not big enough to read. Also can you please tell me when you are going to give us back Duncan Concepts Really red and Duncans TM True Matts. Thank you Joyce Kirtz

This is the most useless vido. Instead if playing music you should be talking and telling in steps what you are putting on the piece. Jk

Stroke & Coat will not be the same as Stoneware. They can be used together for pretty designs!

The dipping version of this glaze is way better. Painting on glaze is so time-consuming and it is absolutely terrible for even base coat coverage. If you want your students to feel bad use paint on glaze😂

Appreciate these results ThNk you. I just happened to test Mudcrack over underglaze last week and the results gave a nice background color. But it was a test tile lying flat so it adhered well.

Hello! I love the way you showed to do the inside part of a glass. I have one question though. When we do the dilution of 3 parts of stroke and coat to 1 of water to roll on the inside, is it enough to make the piece food proof? Or I would need a coat of transparent glaze as well?
@MaycoColorsАй бұрын
You should not need to add a clear coat.

I just want whoever runs this channel to know as an intermediate potter who’s just starting to do his own home firings and “ramp up”, the demonstrations and these profiles are why I’m now a Mayco fanboy for life. It’s changed how I glaze for the better!

Who has the bright idea to film and post an educational video, sales video, in a reduced size portait style. Where we cannot a see a full landscape view. Not very smart…

Because the video was filmed as an Instragram live where the video dimensions are not fit for landscape view. But thanks for your input!

Question. You suggested putting on bisque. Do you just need to let it completely dry and then glaze? Or do you need to bisque before glaze?
@MaycoColors2 ай бұрын
You can put on bisque, greenware or wet clay. Let the engobe dry before applying glaze but you don't have to fire the engobe before adding glaze.

Yes

@@MaycoColors thank you! Can I glaze over it in that state, or should I only apply glaze after bisque firing?
@MaycoColors2 ай бұрын
You can glaze over the engobe after it's been applied to a bisqued piece. You don't need to fire the engobe first.

It does, but you can coat the bristles with liquid soap like dish soap to prevent it from ruining the brush.

Hi, if we use stroke and coat as base at beginning, , is it necessary to colour it again with stroke and coat for finishing? 5 coat glaze ?? Is that not too much?
@MaycoColors2 ай бұрын
Cobblestone has to have a glaze under it to adhere to the piece. The color over is just to color the white cobblestone. If you just want white cobblestone, you do not need to add color over.
