Can you use that real time photo on the map to be on through the entire travel period? So like the colored map lines on the left and then the real time road view on the right I’ve been seeing pictures of it and it just showed a little bit in there so nobody ever says how to do it though.

50% of videos I watch are left, right, left, middle and the other 50% are right, left, right, middle! Which one is correct?

Is there any way to reverse your drive so you can go back the way you came? If I put in my return address it takes me completely out of the way; much longer going back than it was getting there.

What is the green line (route) showing? I know the purple line is depicting the route you are taking but I have searched to see what the green line is supposed to be directing to.

I've used a Garmin for years and never bothered to learn all its features. Thank you so much for this excellent tutorial. It will be extremely helpful for an upcoming cross-country trip into unfamiliar territory.

The knot you have tied is in fact a foot rope knot ,if having tied this you roll the top of your knot down over it self you can convert it into a diamond knot as one is the inverse of the other.

I was traveling to a bike race in Texas, I was lucky to have my Garmin. I hit a rain patch that was so bad my phone was blasting weather warnings, I had no place to turn off or I would have. I could hardly see the road, I tried following trucks but they were to fast. I had to watch the purple line on my Garmin to tell me what was coming up on the road. I always use my garmin when traveling. Just feel better with it. Phone navigation are great as well until they stop working. Crossing from Illinois to St. Louis is kind of tricky, You don't want to end up in the wrong hood in St. Louis.

Little further tip, after u have the knot firmly seated, it's very helpful to hold the knot with one hand and pull each strand separately. This helps to "permanently" firm up and lock the knot/strands in place.

I prefer the "slipknot" method, makes more sense to me as it is basically a marlin spike hitch that you pass the working end through, nice video!

Manager flaw with these GPS. They don’t use a standard 6 figure co-ord. makes them pretty useless
