Thanks Chris 🙏🙏🙏 I’m trying not to rush it and focus on doing a good job. I want it to look as good as possible. So it’s light weight laminated ply from uk leisure parts in Barnsley. If you good campervan converting supplier you may find one more local. Look at the thickness of the laminate you want about a 1mm so it will last well and ask what the weight of the ply is aim for 20kg a sheet. There seems to be a lot of variation on weight and quality. Great video! How did you find installing the maxxfann dome vent in the bathroom?
@abucklife2 күн бұрын
It’s my next video. I thought it would be easier than the big ones but it’s actually harder because you can’t clamp it down as it’s one solid unit so drilling and lining it all up is really tricky. I pre drilled the fan and adaptor off the van taping it together then drilled through the adaptor and roof. Making sure I marked where the holes align. 👍

You are cutting the bed board into the side of the van, what are you doing with the walls once they are panelled?
@abucklife9 күн бұрын
Where I have scribed that part of the bed into the van is to maximise length. I am going to 3mm ply it and suede line it. It only goes tight up in the middle section. If I need to make a bit more room I will take it off the centre line where the boards meet to pull them away from the walls slightly.
