I Def appreciate the tutorial. I was literally just talking to Dylanos like a day or 2 before u posted this asking him about the mechanics and he told me to hit u up about it. Between the both of ur videos I've moved up in rankings way faster than I ever thought. I'm not great but on most maps I'm ranking anywhere from 50-150 +/- but either way I just wanted to throw u a shout out and say ur a legend bro. Keep up the crazy clips and I Def appreciate u. Add me if u have space left. SumWun111

Out of curiosity a couple questions- 1. How long did it take you to perfect bhopping? 2. are you (one of)the pioneers of this technique? 3. How long do you think it would take A.beginners (and) B. pros to learn/implement. 4. What maps are best to practice? And why did you choose these maps? 5. (Not a question)Please pin for others who are genuinely interested. P.s. will reply with how long it took me to utilize this technique and also when i belive i mastered it(if at all. Looks complicated but also with muscle memory could be a walk in the park).

Just some side info, unreal season 0 towards end of season, Next season, champion rank. This season halfway through elite. I belive I'm just under the threshold of an unreal ranked player, but with this technique I'll be world-class. Thank you man I've been looking for a guide like this for A LONG TIME.

Yeah I'd love to hear once you feel you are consistent at them, they definitely take a hot minute lol. 1. I started using them around the end of June. I didn't figure out chaining until around 2 weeks later, and even that was still quite inconsistent compared to now. I want to say for consistent enough it took me around a month, but there's still so much to improve on that I find it hard to say I'm consistently perfect or close to it. 2. Not fully a pioneer but I definitely pushed it after it was discovered. (Random history off the cuff, don't castrate me if I'm wrong lol) Some people like Drazen and Zick started testing the idea originally. I first saw the one wheel technique get used by Ewarz which seemed more fruitful than the 2 wheel one Drazen was originally using. Then I think I made the biggest pushes from there with chaining them consistently and putting together the Bone Cavern routes. People are starting to catch-up with bhopping, but I think I'm still "the bhop guy" for now lol 3. A beginner would probably be a fair amount of time, I would say 2-3 months for consistent chaining, but it really depends on their starting point and commitment. For pros, I'd say single bhops in a couple days and a couple weeks to a month for consistent chaining. 4. Bone Cavern 1 is my main map recommendation for training bhops. You can work on some easy sloped bhops throughout the map if you want, and both tunnels are essentially flat with no real obstacles. This was where most of my consistency and training came from. I've also seen people try ReinPikas training map, I find the grass disorienting to tell the height of the road on, but if that's not the case for you then it has a giant open field for reckless practicing lol. I spent multiple hours on Shipwrecked doing bhops literally everywhere because of all the weird angled roads, which I think really helped me learn as well. I wasn't focused on going fast, just being consistent and spamming them as hard as possible. Other than that I say try it on most maps honestly. Practicing with uncomfortable scenarios causes you to learn much faster and leads to better understanding and consistency. Being comfortable when you're practicing just leads to plateaus in skill

@deadlyDioji wow thank you, I wasn't expecting such a quick reply, just because of the level of detail you put into the video, the same amount into the comment. Pure legend, see ya on the track ;). GT: o Dragon v3x First gotta practice, tho lol. Again, probably the best guide I've ever seen anywhere, structure is straightforward, and all details mattered, straight down to the point of perfection. Examples of what to do and what could be done wrong in a short video. As soon as I get on I believe I'll have it down fairly quickly. But to master it. I already use mag flips, and air drift flips a lot so the air roll part is the only part I'm unfamiliar with. I'll do speed run maps to hone my skills. Also I never considered using a custom map for anything but now I'll have to try it.

Got a question. Is front tire supposed to be harder than back tire? I learned on my own after just kinda seeing it amd thinking while I was away, and I am better at back trailing tire. Sooo... is it just me?
@deadlyDioji
@deadlyDioji 14 сағат бұрын
I don't think either is necessarily harder, just different and sometimes our brains are weird about preferences lol. I originally learned with the back tire before switching to the front tire, and I've seen others learn with the front tire first. The reasons I recommended the front tire were I assumed that both are the same difficulty, but the front has the mild advantage of not needing to be as rotated for a drift, going down faster is easier with front imo, and I've found the most success with it so I'm biased lol I'd say if you can make it work go for it, you're not really stuck in your choice so there's no real harm even if there is a need to switch later
@MrBlueSky0076

@deadlyDioji ok that makes sense. I also know you said that if you do a back tire it might pull u back cause of thrusters. Idk i just gotta learn both anyway.
@deadlyDioji
@deadlyDioji 13 сағат бұрын
Yeah I realize now I probably shouldn't have made it seem like the leading back tire was as bad as the trailing tires lol 😅 The thrusters shouldn't be much of an issue in 99% of scenarios with the leading back tire

Question dioji would i use the trailing back tire for the b hop at the end of airborne 1 speedrun
@deadlyDioji

I tend to flip back and forth on using the trailing back or the leading front for that slope due to the weird angle of it. I'd say just try both and see what you like more for that one

How do u prevent yourself from air dodging up cause I keep going up
@deadlyDioji
@deadlyDioji 3 күн бұрын
@@Keliofficial947 Start with taking more time between jumping and flipping so that you can get the direction consistent, but it just tends to happen when you try to go too fast for what your fingers are used to. You'll flip up anytime your stick is at all closer to up than sideways so just work on adjusting that before flipping Being slightly slower on the flip is also not too detrimental, so it's fine to have the longer adjustment period until you are used to it
