Using similiar techniques, doyou think i can build a 55' catamaran using aluminum? I really think its better than fiberglass. My only issue it how to make aluminum feel "Warm" on the inside, but I figure I'd be using foam board and wood laminates over the top to trim out the interiors.

Is this the 24' Chesapeake Flattie featured in Reuel Parker's "Sharpie Book?" Did you add the bowsprit? I don't think the plans in the book show one. If you post a clip of her sailing, I'd love to see it.

De boot is 8 meter en een kaal casco weegt 1100kg. De boot is volledig gelast van 5mm zeewaardig aluminium. Kijk ook op tenderline.nl/4-14/alu-rib.html

You can still trim enough for driving the boat, on a trailer or with a beach landing you can flip up the platform.

Yes outboard can be fully tilted platform on newer models opens sideways
