Good afternoon Mark, with your existing qualifications were sure you would take to it very easily. They are very easy to drive and as you can see from our trail run online video, we go through every element of the boat thoroughly and take you for a drive before departure. We will never let a customer leave to explore the Broads before they are completely comfortable with their boat and how to operate it, so even if you don't pick it up quickly, rest assured you will feel happy and confident before you depart our basin. In regards to being alone, the only time when this could be a disadvantage would be when mooring up as there would be no one to jump off the boat to tie the back rope, however people on the Norfolk Broads are incredibly helpful and friendly and will be willing to help if you do have any difficulties with this, however if you take your time and think ahead before mooring you will be fine. I spoke to someone about this and I was sad to learn I can’t hire a boat as a single crew despite running boats single handed from Poole etc.
