the crew left from the east side of velp ave @ 10:15 this am and then switched and hooked up to the hoppers that have been on velp ave for a couple weeks, then the conductor and the guy in the chase car went up to white pine then put the freddie on and headed north on velp.

My wife and I were thinking that was a weird way to end the parade but after about 20-25 regular cars came through we went back in our hotel. Then bout 30 minutes later we heard horns a Jake brakes. We just watched from our room as our son had fallen asleep by then.

I love the weed choked right-of-way in this video. Good ole short line operations. This train had some interesting freight cars including an old GTW covered hopper and an ancient ICG covered hopper. Excellent video !

Glad to see you got this train this way one can tell how well things are going on the entire Green Bay stretch. The amount of grain from Oconto Falls is always a strange feeling is it just doesn't seem to be that much of an agricultural area specifically for shipping out such a large Surplus. They certainly do get a Motley collection covered hoppers and there's four old factory paint gems in there all at least 40 years old the two blue Grand Trunk Westerns and a true Orange Illinois Central Gulf. At least it seems like all the cars that were stockpiled at the various yards are on their way to Green Bay. Thanks for the coverage
