Probably not the only one saying this in the comments, but where is “Dead to Rights”?! That was in my opinion the most memorable Max Payne clone, but once again thats me. Maybe no one remembers

I remember walking in to GameStop when I was younger just to look around… then I saw it, the cover immediately grabbed my attention, and the name of the game “Assassin’s Creed.” It was an instant ask my mother to buy it please! 😂

One of the best coop games ever, i remember buying this SPECIFICALLY for the coop campaign cause it was all me wnd buddy did was coop. There were only a couole game where you could play a campaign together at that time. We had so much fun being in a far cry game together. This video talks about halo and gears but those were some of the only games thet ever had coop campaign, yes they were good but they wwre the only ones. Comparing this to those is asisine

I used to really like Ubisoft. Or more accurately, I loved Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood, 3, Rogue, Revelations and Black Flag MY GOD REVELATIONS AND BLACK FLAG!! and I assumed the rest of Ubisoft was like that. Then between modern AC games deliberately making their XP system take so long you want to pay for XP boosters just to spend less time playing the game you paid 70 bucks to play, Valhalla completely ignoring what made AC great originally, and Skull & Bones being... Skull & Bones, I realized something: *Ubisoft sucks now.* So sure, am I still planning to play AC Unity and Syndicate? Yes. Will I still revisit Revelations, Black Flag, and Rayman Legends over and over and over? You bet your ass I will. But aside from the rumored remake of Black Flag if it ever comes out, will I probably ever buy another Ubisoft game again? No, no I don't think I will.

Hopefully the game former forza devs (I think they’re called team maverick or something) are making is actually good. I believe It’s supposed to be a gritty street racer.

Modern racing games are throw away. There will never be nostalgia enough for any of them to want to go back and play them. The only option is going to be to move into the latest and greatest and hope that they get less buggy over time. This applies to all of the mainstay games you have mentioned in this video. At the end of the day any serious racing game fan that wants to play the most relivant racing games available knows that it's the online racing that's the most important aspect. It is a bit ridiculous that these games are such beggy messes though. The Devs really do need to get their s*** together when it comes to these triple A racing titles.

Live service gaming has sucked out a lot of the creativity in the industry. Even though it’s always been about money, now companies want you to play just one game. Or, at least a game you revisit constantly, and have an opportunity to buy things that would cost well over a standard game price. Shit this doesn’t even apply to just racing games, all games are affected. Maybe it’s just me but games during the 360 era were just more interesting. But that might be partially on me because I don’t own a PlayStation lol.

My main issue with ubisoft is just how close they are to being great. For literally every ubisoft game i play, i always feel that if they put just a bit more effort in, theyd have an incredible game.

I'm all for this kind of thing and was wondering if there is a group or page I could join to show my support. I want to stream some games and am a little bit worried about getting copyright strikes for streaming games. I fully support the idea of if you buy it you own it and the right to repair as well.

As a fierce defender of Metro, alot of your complains sound unreasoned to me. Yet I respect your points and could only add, that maybe this game isn't for the Call of Duty players like yourself. The player is supposed to be at the side of characters and listen to them, like if you were actually there. The game isn't demanding or anything, its supposed to lead you through an alternate world full of russian spirit, sadness and joy. You can even spare most people you encounter, adding to the story and moral side of the game. 10/10 game would highly recommend (sry for bad english)

30:04 As someone who is about to get a diploma in audio engineering, there is absolutely no excuse for having bad car sounds in a video game. Even 15 years ago there was no excuse. 12 mics is nothing. I recorded drum tracks today that took around 12 mics. These companies are lazy, and don't care about the quality of the product as long as it makes money. I honestly hate the modern world we live in, no wonder I'm depressed.

This has been the issue I have had with Ubisoft forever. They had honestly been my favorite AAA dev over EA or Activision because of the creative premises and diverse types of games that they published. But most people's complaints surrounded the monotony and busywork that the games had, or criticised lack of innovation even though most of other devs were pumping out sequel after sequel with the same exact premise. But the majority of the criticism was that Ubisoft was repetitive, not that they were dishonest. And if you keep saying the only problem is one that they share with every other successful game, then Ubisoft is just going to think they don't have a problem.

Why is music licensing for games temporary in the first place? What's the difference between a game and a movie in this context? If they can sell a movie 50 years later with all the music still in it why not games?
