Hey everyone, Paul and Lisa here! 👋 We just wrapped up our Carnival Celebration cruise and, wow, were we surprised! 🎉 We went into this cruise with some preconceived notions-thinking it might be all about partying and that “Walmart crowd” stereotype. But honestly, it was NOTHING like that. The vibe was super chill, and we didn’t see any of the craziness we were expecting. It was actually one of the most diverse, family-friendly cruises we’ve been on, with lots of younger couples and plenty of teens having a blast. The ship itself? Way better than we imagined! From the quiet cabins (even down near the engine room) to the great selection of bourbon at the bars (Paul’s favorite, of course), it really exceeded our expectations. And can we talk about the food? So many options, and the low-cost extras like those incredible beignets at Emeril’s Bistro really stood out. Plus, there’s no upcharge for some of the best spots like Guy’s Burger Joint and Big Chicken-how awesome is that? We’ve been on a lot of cruises, and Carnival Celebration really held its own. We’re definitely not ruling out another Carnival cruise in the future, especially with how well they’ve done with this newer ship. We’re cruising all year long, so stay tuned as we keep exploring and comparing different ships. We can’t wait to share more with you all! Hey fellow travelers! 🌴🌊 Wow, what an incredible day we had on Day 3 of our MSC Seascape cruise! Starting our adventure in Jamaica with the breathtaking Dunn's River Falls was an absolute blast. It was our first time tackling those stunning waterfalls, and despite the rain, we had an unforgettable experience. Nothing like a good waterfall hike to kickstart the day, right? After our adventure, we took some well-deserved relaxation time at the thermal spa. The outdoor hot tub was the perfect spot to unwind, especially after the rain let up. Feeling totally rejuvenated, we headed to the Tanaki Japanese restaurant for an early dinner. The food was fantastic, and the chef's performance was top-notch - talk about dinner and a show! We ended our night at the Top Sail Lounge, which gives you that intimate, small cruise vibe within the larger ship. It's like the best of both worlds! I know they say that gratuities are included but do the staff expect gratuities anyway?
