Thanks for explaining how the antlers shed. I also wandered if a small film of some sorts got between the antler an skull of the deer 🦌

Another dude was saying this happens with the does/cows are in 3rd trimester and this happens because the female need the calcium to produce milk for fawns and they eat them. Anyone else heard this??
