I give a tip on how to adjust for any size. Make a chain about a half inch larger than your foot, then follow the pattern as normal. I hope that helps ❤️

How can I make it work for the other shoe. It looks good on the outside of one shoe but you have to flip the swoosh over in order to use it on the outside of the other shoe. It doesn't look good. Please help

I never thought about it before lol. But I figured it out for you ❤️ you’re gonna be working the pattern kinda backwards. Ch 8, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc next 3 sts, hdc next st, 2 hdc next st, 3 hdc next st, 4 hdc last st.

Love it! Thought you'd might like to know that Spain's Queen Letitia recently carried a crocheted granny square purse. I made one similar to feel like a queen! 😆 I've noticed other queens and royal women wearing other crocheted items, too. It could be a fun thing to do - make items to feel like royalty! 😆

I found a beautiful crochet pattern tutorial on KZfaq (it is a different version of a shell stitch that the creator shows how to make in a video tutorial) and I want to make a KZfaq video tutorial for a garment that incorporates the exact pattern/stitch. Can I use the same pattern for my own KZfaq Tutorial? The tutorial is gonna be a tutorial on my piece of garment, not specifically the crochet pattern. Is it legal to use the same pattern? Or in another question: are these types of patterns considered stitches and therefore just fine to use myself?

I do have bumpy edges, while working on a scarf, crochet, I was thinking, is there a way to get a smoother edge? a more professional look, I came upon your site, so, I tried your method, night and day, this does give a more professional look, almost like the selvedge edge of material, thank you for showing how to do this,

So... using a multiple of 4 leaves you with only 3 stitches at the end instead of 4. Shouldn't it be a multiple of 4+1? You chain 4 out of the first FHDC, which uses up 1 stitch, then every skip 3 and cluster uses 4 stitches. So with only using a multiple of 4 (eg 52 FHDC), one side will only have 3 stitches rather than 4 at the edge, making it uneven. (Whether you only skip 2 instead of 3 after that first ch 4, or before the last DC.)

This is the knot I use. I saw Mikey from The Crochet Crowd do it and it is my go to knot now. I only cut the ends for lacy projects. Otherwise I still weave in the ends because it make me feel better. Old habits are hard to break.
