This is a display of beauty, the beauty of violin playing. Vilde Frang's violin playing has that dimension, floating weightlessly, but resting on a competence, technical and musical, that gives her room to excel in all passages, but at the same time a playing that rejects all external flair, only to concentrate on the inner core of Mendelssohn's music. Vilde Frang's interpretation of this concert is, as I see it now, the best I have ever heard. Together with Sir Simon Rattle and the Berliner Philharmoniker, she has here created a musical atmosphere that is completely convincing.

Detta är en uppvisning i skönhet, violinspelets skönhet. Vilde Frangs violinspel har den dimensionen, viktlöst svävande, men vilande på en kompetens, teknisk och musikalisk, som ger henne utrymme att briljera i alla passager, men samtidigt ett spel som avvisar all yttre flärd, bara för att koncentrera sig på den inre kärnan i Mendelssohns musik. Vilde Frangs tolkning av denna konsert är, som jag jag ser det nu, den bästa jag någonsin hört. Tillsammas med sir Simon Rattle och Berlinerfilharmonikerna har hon här skapat en musikalisk atmosfär som är fullkomligt övertygande.

What a fascinating violin playing by Vilde Frang! Together with Berlin Philharmonic and Sir Simon Rattle she makes this music a shimmering pearl. Her playing is so technically brilliant that it seems as if the difficulties in playing this spledid way are none. She just hit it out of the park!

I am SO glad that I stumbled on to this piece. I love Daniel Barenboim and his approach to music. I also have been listening to Martha Argerich for years and to see them together making making such grand music on a difficult piece such as our friend Wolfgang created is PURE HEAVEN.

Para componer esta música Mozart, debía de sentir dentro el ritmo y ,el sonido de todo el universo dentro suyo .. y sólo estos seres pudieron hacerlo , vibrando al mismo compas de las estrellas.

It is extremely difficult to tap this lightly on these keys. They are like master ballerinas who are tapping on point the whole time. Truly a magical experience.

The ,usic by Mozart that normaly is gorgeous can be darker (Don Giovanni). Bur when they play 2 pianos or 2- handed pianos, the music is the most brillan one. They both play in harmony, accompasely and frienship. As if jokes were spoken sucesively with the consecuent laughing. ❤
