OH my god! Canada is losing another cute HK's girl! so so sad! Vanessa is your name? hey, Vanessa, nobody has the right to tell u to stay or leave Canada, your parents might be the only 1 who has the right to give u an opinion! Thus, it is your call and don't pay 2 much attention about what others has to say! I do understand the Canadian job market is definitely tanking "big" 2023 and 2024. However, your attempt of sending CV of 30+ is not a lot so it should not be a shock to u that u received 0 reply! When it comes to job hunting, patience is the term u have to use in North America job market right now! One thing that not a lot of recent HK newcomers know about it, your school or work experiences are fully transferable from Canada to Hong Kong. However, it is not the other way around, u can work in Hong Kong, Taiwan, or mainland China for a few year but your work experience there will not give u any advantage landing a job in Canada! 1 thing I do not necessary agree with Vane or Vanessa is the fact that if u are fighting for a job with someone who has a better degree than u or a well experienced manager for your entry level job in Canada, Vanessa, u will "not" be at an disadvantage position. For many company in Canada , your loyalty counts very big, thus, if that person has lots of experience working as a manager for the past few year, how likely this person will stay at that entry level job! Anyway, Vanessa, good luck wherever u go. I really don't think a cutie pie who can get up at 6-7am in the morning doing workout at a Disney "boat" will have any problem finding her "dream job" and her "dream life" wherever she wants to go!🙄
