It's strange that we need to prove Ethernet's superiority over Wifi. I'd think every computer should be connected via ethernet by default and use wifi only as the last option. The presenter should have made it clear that since this is a PCI parallel bus adapter, it will not run at Gigabit speeds. The PCI bus maxes at out at about 600 Mbit. It is still miles ahead of wireless.
