I feel sorry for the downloader because he/she is missing one of the most important part of life: BEING A KID. And as being a kid, watching cartoons is part of it. Even a 40 year old man there's no shame in being a kid in heart. Reading comics, playing videos games, collecting unnesserary things unlike others dont is most part of it. They literally took cn off my tv but I literally watched every episode on yt and the movie as well I liter rewatched the whole show and I love how they show so much emotion in the show I’m sad about the ending ofc but it was still amazing! I love how much thought they put into every character and left no one behind and gave a backstory to almost every character that was on the show. It shows how Steven went through his life learning about his mom and what she did to learn how to deal with it physically, mentally and emotionally. I love how they put how he went through so much trauma dealing with being a gem which affected his human half giving him ptsd. I love the show in general and love how they showed fusion as love. I really wanted to see more into Steven life after he moved and his relationship with Connie and bismuth and pearl’s relationship as well. I love the genuinely emotions all the characters had. In general the show is the best!

@@crugerrFuture was actually decent. It was a nice change of scenery from the normal "Steven solves others' problems" to "Steven solves his own problems". And I do think there are writing issues present in it but that's what happens when CN tells you to pull 20 more episodes out of your ass after a rushed season 5 ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

But for the most part, I think the crew handled SUF perfectly. They didn't make it a COMPLETE musical which was really thoughtful. It handled Steven's mental components real well and another subtle detail is that every lesson that Steven learns in each episode doesn't really help with his condition which is SO GOOD, for the narrative that is. (for example, in the skating episode with Connie, he learns that Connie still loves him even tho he doesn't know much about school and shit. But when he proposes later on, he does feel like she cares and is one of the driving factors of his proposal. This I feel is a great detail and makes the story much more realistic and fun)

And ofc the ending.. idek why people hate it tbh it's perfect. Sure they could've done more with monster Steven, better animation would've been good as well. But all things considered, Steven driving off and leaving beach City, instead of just magically feeling better is PERFECTION

And there is some reasons for that hate. It not a good ending it just an ending like that's all. Original cartoon ended on the point when everything was done achieved you win the game and your prize is that you won it yourself but in future they're some problems and they seem not to be directly achieved they are just meh. I think the problem was the time there was a lot to discuss but not a lot of time to do so, so they tried to make it work but it didn't.
