Great to see you back mate. You’ve certainly improved on the art of storytelling and cinematography. You told this story well even with its sad past. Well done and hope to see more.

Two of my mounting bolts broke and the winch lifted up on one end then twisted and that was the end, got a xtm winch now.

Do you happen to have a source to find O-rings for the Gas burner valves ? Or is there a kit to replace all the O-rings ? I have an issue with 1 burner valve flashover...the O-rings for 1 valve are leaking.. Thanks..

G'day Alex, Just reading through the comments. Its all been said. But let me just add my thoughts. So great to have you back on the tube. Your attention to detail is what i love about your work. If i only see one video a year, I know it will be the best video i will see that year. Although this video held some dark secrets, you didn't hide them. Exposing the truth will sometimes, always hurt someone. But it needs to be told. Let me finish by congratulating you and Beau on a great job. I will await your next installment with great anticipation... Cheers Mark... 12:20

Your voice is a gift to good to be unused. Keep your standing without the swearing and keep it very professional even if your working on carsl. I know about this I have always worked in this area. Undoubtedly why you have been so successful with viewers is your voice. Keep it up you have a rare talent. You never know where it will lead you!

Hopeful that you read this, but i have a few questions Why not use piggy back fuses for the wires And does it matter if all the power wires are to accessories or does it need to be all separate, i dont mind having the light on all the time
@Alex.GАй бұрын
You could definitely use piggy back fuses, I just wasn't into the habit of using them when I made this. If you put everything to accessories there is a chance you lose memory (gauges won't keep the colour you set them to, alarms won't keep their set parameters) but I'm not 100% on that cos it's been a few years since I did it

Just wow Alex......we felt the worst energy from NN, we did know of the worst abuse and even how the priest that was buried there got removed ( Im pretty sure you know who that is ) still good on you and Beau for going down such a massive rabbit hole only the brave and few can stomach :( I still would love to go and see the carriage after knowing what happened-and are you bringing out a part 2 ?
@Alex.GАй бұрын
Thanks for the comment, I didn't hear about the priest being removed actually! So many secrets....on the whole I'm not sure what to think about the place. Pre 1900 it seems like their intentions were good, but I don't know...that's another cavern in the rabbit hole that could take a long time to reveal. I'd do a part two if I can get some more leads, I've been given a few ideas to perhaps explore deeper so I'll be doing some poking around!

I've been watching some more recent videos and Mt Elvire station certainly seems to have gone downhill from the day this was filmed! According to DPAW Kalgoorlie there is no need to book, just first in first served. By the looks of the current station you wouldn't want to stay there in any case!

Sorry that first seemed like researching what could have been a whimsical story about carriages on the beach ended up being a dark story for you to tell. Being 50y/o and in Perth most of my life made me flinch when you mentioned New Norcia! If you're interested in some local history before New Norcia then I recommend George Fletcher Moore - diary of ten years eventful life... JR Gribble - Dark deeds in a sunny land

It's all part of the journey and while it hit pretty heavy, I'm glad to know the truth. My grandfather had a similar reaction, he used to see the kids being used as slave labour carting bricks and mortar down by the swan river when he was a child. Thanks for the reading recommendations too!
